Greetings all! Was hooked on Firefly from the first ep and like most of us went through the Firefly rollercoaster. Thank heaven for the DVD's! Um, speaking of the DVD's - what happened to the opening narration.. i.e Earth got used up..we even got ourselves a preacher?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

For whatever reason, the opening narration was left off of the DVD set. It would have been nice to have as an extra, but unfortunately we did not get it.

Actually would have liked to have seen that little bit before the act endings that Joss said he put in so the networks computers wouldn't cut to commercial right away. That cork background gave the show ALOT of character. It was different than what other shows did and caught the eye, even if it was only on for half a sec.
