I read the account from Static and thought, how many others have had a similar expierence. We've often made reference to the daily things that pop up & make us think of Firefly, but what about life inspiration. Something that has actually changed the way you look at life that you gained from this altogether Shiny show.

For Example: The opening wav file on my computer at work says "A captains goal was simple, find a crew, find a job, keep flying." No matter how much I may loathe my work day, or whatever crap I may have dealt with the day before, that phrase puts my day in perspective. My crew-My wife and the family we hope to have. My job-the one I have like it or not. & I just Keep Flying. I don't give up I don't quit I don't throw in the towel. Yeah, life sucks the life out of you some days. You just gotta keep flying.

So any other Firefly life inspiration out there???

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I would like to think that the show, the perseverance of the crew in the face of adversity has given me some inspiration to drive on when things get tough.

I sometimes ask myself, "What would Mal do in this situation?" when I run into a problem. Since I don't carry a gun to the office, and my office does not have an airlock, I normally just laugh and work something out.

I have used the "Still Flying" attitude often lately.

There are days that it doesn't seem like much, but it's enough.

Firefly is about loyalty.

Loyalty to one's crew and mates.
Loyalty to one's heart and soul.
Loyalty to one's principles and mores.

Remember to stay loyal and true to who and what you hold dear and you'll be living a good life and one any Browncoat could be proud to live.
