Ok its taken a week to reply but its been a bitch of a past week any way.This is my reply to HOTPOINT's story inspired by my idea caleb vs mal set in HIS multiverse. First off i have to say thanks to hotpoint for picking up on the idea and creating a stand alone fan fiction .
Right,now my verdict ... overal the story was fun and humourous with plenty of mayhem BUT i thought CALEB should of been more of a evil bastard like he was in buffy charming yet cold and deadly ,in this story caleb felt like a bit part player with mal having very much the upper hand...now the way i saw it the story should of been more of a test of wits and brawn in a climatic showdown between the two main characters,the story was to light considering both characters are dark.The setting was odd but considering the fact these characters arent from the same place it was ok.Im not saying the story was poor far from it aleast hotpoint had a go at putting these two characters together that made some sort of sense its just that i was hoping for a gritty dark and brutal story that would of tested both characters in an odd place.Overal my final view on this fanfic is its good but could of been brilliant.well done to Hotpoint and im glad everyone enjoyed the story and reading the feed back it looks like a few peolpe want the follow up...zoe vs jasmin. Thanks again for Hotpoint's fanfic.

Hi STICKS,

I'm glad you seemed to like the Fic but it seems from reading your post it's like you're more disappointed you didn't get the story you wanted rather than you were reviewing the story you got

From where I stand the whole idea of a Mal/Caleb crossover is pretty humourous and tongue-in-cheek in itself which is why I played it a bit lighter than you were hoping for. Just another example of different artistic visions I suppose?

Im not saying i didnt like it, im just saying its different to what i was expecting.Everyone has there own idea of how a story should be and this was your take on it. Like ive said it was a good story overal. Now many people have asked for the follow up zoe vs jasmine, so will you be doing that for them?

STICKS basically we said the same thing on the subject of "take" or "artistic vision". Also I started my reply saying "I'm glad you seemed to like the Fic" so please don't go thinking I was being defensive thinking you didn't like it

I've been trying to come up with a decent Zoe Vs Jasmine plot since people started asking but so far I'm drawing a bit of a blank. I'm going to have to go back and watch the Episodes of Angel Jasmine was in to try and gain inspiration

When I've got a plot I'll write it up and post it. Looks look my intention to only ever write one crossover is out the window

Heh. Should be interesting to see if you can pull off a "Jayne vs. Hamilton" fic, what with Jayne popping up on Angel next episode. And what about a "Knox vs. Tracey vs. Holden" fic?
