Hi everyone,
I post here pretty rarely since I spend most of my time at the Old Fox Board, but since it is down for construction I thought I would say hi.
"Hi"

Anyway has anyone seen any other OB fanatics, perhaps concerned because they don't know there is maintainence going on at the old board/prospero sites? If you do send them my way. I'll be happy to calm them down and keep them muzzled for ya.

You need to sandwich the word between two colons. like this :constipated: (I had to pick an unused word). Whenever you see a nifty looking post, you can hit "reply with quote" and it'll show you exactly what they typed to make it.

BTW, all Browncoats are welcome here, of course. Sometimes one of us will post something completely insane. But I noticed that happens at the OB, too. So, things should feel pretty familiar here.

Good to have both of you here w/ us BigBlueFan & Girlie. It's nice to see some of the OB faces here once in awhile.

I haven't really seen any of the others here, but after the flak some of them received the last time the OB went down, it is understandable. It is my sincere hope that everyone here will be courteous and remember we are all Browncoats.

Enjoy your stay. Hope it becomes more than transitory.

Like I mentioned to browncoat, I'm a 1 week-old newbie. Does the OB have anythng to do with prospero? And how do I, say, attach part of your message to my reply? I appreciate any help, and good luck figuring out why you have to keep re-logging on!

Yes, OB (official board) is the prospero board for Firefly.

You can attach all or part of someone' post by either cutting and pasting part of it, or by clicking on the reply with quote button at the bottom of the person's post you want to quote.

Yes, the OB is the prospero Firefly board. I think I saw you around a bit this week didn't I? Your name is familiar. When you go to reply, hit the one that says "reply with quote" I think. It's been a long time since I frequented this board(not due to the people but due to my lack in net savy skills, the other board is just simplier.)

Oh Adam isn't worried. His girls are hard core. They won't budge. Now the Fillionaires.... Those are some hard core honey's too! Adam and Nate are set for life...don't you worry.

Nate doesn't have online so he hardly ever visits us anymore,(I think the Filly's scared him off) but we know his parents lurk about.

Hey, I did it! And it was so easy! Thanks alot, Browncoat1 and Girlie. I'm learning so much, and everyone has been very helpful. I'm also asking alot of questions (poor Thyme). Like I told her, if I had a chunk of time to myself, I could figure things out much quicker. But as I have 2 kids, they always get first priority. I kind of run to the computer for a couple minutes, then run off. Today my youngest was in pre-school, and I actually had 2 hours to myself, and the OB was down...talk about frustration!
