I check and read the boards here and at whedonesque.com just about every day and sometimes multiple times during the day. Why oh why do I do this to myself?

We all like to speculate about how and when a new movie or series about the Verse may happen which is why.

What ultimately gives me hope, is that nearly every other day someone posts a thread saying that they are new and have just seen Firefly and/or Serenity for the first time and sought us out. I wonder how many people there are out there for every new person that posts here that have just seen Firefly and/or Serenity.

I still have friends and family that I need to convert. I finally got my 67 year old dad and 65 year old mom to watch the series and the movie and they have since passed it on to all of their retirement chronies down in Arizona. Wonder if I'll ever get those copies back.

So, keep the faith, keep loaning the series and the movie to newbies or let them know to check it out on hulu.com. We need to convert all we can and eventually the powers that be will be converted as well.

I'm the same way. I can't help myself, y'know, to be optomistic whenever I hear or read aboyut another convert. Here we are 6 years after and more people are discovering this gem. I told my 25 y.o. son, I actually watched the series with him, and now he's turning on his friends to the 'Verse. The FF story is just too good to be sitting on a shelf. Keep voting, keep sharing and keep posting people; someone in the industry with half a brain will figure it out. Then we get our BDHs back.

I'm right there with you guys, eventhough I've only been on board for a few months now, there's no chance I'll stop actively trying to get back what's right. Maybe I'm just a fool full of false hope, but as long as Joss and the crew still walk the earth I won't give up the fight...

Thanks for your posts. I knew I wasn't alone in my hopes.

Since I just found out, a few weeks ago, about hulu.com and the fact that they have all the episodes of Firefly there for free, I am sending out a mass email to all of my extended family and friends to go and watch.

I've been wanting more Firefly episodes since 2003, so I'm not about to give up now.

I still love Firefly, and I still show it to as many people as I can. I'm sadly not as active in the Browncoat communities as I would like to be (I started becoming active in the Can't Stop The Signal forums, but then they were shut down), but as long as there's a slim chance, no matter how tiny, I will hope and try.

If nothing else, we have the comics, and if they're being made, it keeps the door open for more episodes/movies.

I'm not too insane....I think.
