Old news. Rogan has been set to star in the movie for over a year. He's not starring because he wrote it, he was hired to write and star from the get-go.

The only actual news on the project is Stven Chow stepping down as director, though he'll still play Kato.

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him."

That was NEVER the Green Hornet, it was The Bruce Lee Show. Always will be.

I never really liked The Green Hornet anyway. Everybody and his cousin making Superhero movies, even inferior ones.

Watch a Lee film instead, they're far superior.

I think my hero worship is getting the better of me because of his starring role, I believe Seth Rogan is going to ruin the image I have of The Green Hornet.

Ok let's set the way-back machine to circa-1966, Batman, already a success on TV, is joined by GH and his trusty companion Kato. Everywhere you went especially during warm weather, you would see kids outside playing the GH game and everyone wanted to be Kato (of course doing his now-famous yell - POY!)chopping away at imaginary villians.

Now, regrettably, flash forward to the present and read the news that a stoner-dude is going to portray one of your childhood heroes and.....well, you get the idea. It's disappointing. Your right, it seems that everyone and their mother is making a superhero movie, but we discover that most are not worth the film their printed on.

I think Wash said it best - I'd like to go to the crappy town where I can make a superhero movie (or something like that)
