Dear Studio Operations,

Please check this out, and read it carefully:

This poll was set up in such a way that participants could only vote once. Given the choice of Serenity or Riddick, Serenity is leading by a 10 to 1 margin! Universal is evidently planning to Release a Riddick Sequel. If this poll is even Remotely accurate, that could be a costly mistake.

The time is right for a Serenity sequel. Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau and Adam Baldwin are all well known Actors, thanks to the exposure of their respective TV shows. The Fan Base for Serenity is comparitively less vocal than in the past, yet much larger considering that so many people have been exposed to Firefly reruns and Serenity TV screenings, DVD sales and Theatrical Charity Screenings.

Please bring this information to the attention of Someone in Studio Operations who will understand and appreciate this information.

Tim, you might have wanted to read the thread more carefully. David Twohy(sp?) has said the new Riddick movie won't be coming from Universal, so your imploring Uni to make Sernity 2 rather than a movie they're not making anyway.

Rope of Silicon appears to think it's going to be Universal. The other comment was "I heard that...". Not my idea of a reliable source :smile;. But the point with Uni is, they DO have the power to make a Serenity Sequel, and that's really what's important, right?

And besides, I can't exactly take the e-mail back! LOL

My appologies to the Riddick fans but Pitch Black as a Sci-Fi Movie/Story was a reasonable film.
Between Vin Diesel's acting, and the script of "The Chronicles" there is absolutely NO comparison to the strength of a good Firefly yarn.
To many in the 'Verse today are used to being fed pablum in films.
I don't hold to that: We deserve something more.
