Even if the show is great many viewers will have lost interest by the spring or moved on to other shows. Only the more hardcore fans will remain.

It could be a sign that the show isn't what they hoped for and this is a four episode tester to see what figures/reviews are like. If they are good then they relaunch, if they are not then they make it a mini-series and call it quits.

Hoping for the best, but it ain't lookin' good.

To be fair, the Winter Olympics is a juggernaut that will crush the competition. You will see lots of re-runs on the major networks.

Easiest solution: set it to autorecord on TiVo or whatever you have. Then don't watch it. When it starts again you can finish it or if they cancel it before it is done just delete the stupid thing. I wish I would have done that with some of the other shows these idiot networks have canceled.
