Anyone have any early word on where, when, how this will happen for Serenity? Anyone with movie insider knowledge know the protocol on who typically gets to go to these events?

There has been a bit of information exchange on this on the OB, as of course, many Browncoats would like to take part in this event in some way. But, there really isn't anything concrete.

The only semi-knowns (YMMV) are:

1)Premieres are usually an invite only situation, so general sales to the public are doubtful.

2)Premieres mostly happen about a week before the release of the film, so 9/19-23 seems in the ballpark, but probably not on a Friday, or Mon (IIRC).

That's all I've gleaned - and it could be way off.
