...and a good story with rich characters (and I know that you do), I'd like to recommend one of my favorite little films, "The Education of Little Tree." Starring James Cromwell and Graham Green, it tells the story of the Depression-era boyhood of an orphaned Cherokee, eight-year-old Little Tree, raised and tutored by his grandparents in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. It's sweet, funny, outraging, sad, and uplifting (in no particular order).

I saw that movie in school in my english class. Its a good movie, I liked it. Little Tree is such a adorable lil boy.
