I`m going to be making a special visit to Woking on my way to a Hotel in Crawley for a 2 day training course.

There`s a lifesize martian machine there that I want to see (& photo) and there`s a few other HG Wells bits`n`pieces too

I thought I would post here anyway, maybe somebody will want to join me Martian Hunting?

Send me a message if you are interested, I`ll be driving down in the morning (ater the London Film & Comic Con the day before)

Darin (Zol.)

p.s. Nail-Bunny provided me some info which is helpful, will try to get some decent images done.

Zol, if I lived in England and not in the US, I would totally want to come Martian Hunting with you. Sounds like lots of fun. As it is..can't wait to see the pics.

p.s. I really fell in love with the Musical War of the Worlds and then watched the early movie, then the BBC TV Series `Tripods` (stry of 3 teenagers on the run from their martian overseers, and finally managed to listen to the original radio play by Orsen Welles (which is very dated, but good to listen to)
