UK Browncoats - What do you want to see/do at a Shindig?

As some will already know, there will be a UK Firefly Fantable at this years Memorabelia Event at Birminghams NEC in the UK (August 13th-14th) - with a Shindig at a Hotel within the complex grounds in the evening of the 13th (Saturday).

So I guess what would be nice is soem feedback/suggestions of what people who are interested in attending would like to see & do?

There might be access to a screen projector, a possible buffet - but is there anything that`s a must?

I welcome replies from people who have ideas, but especially from those who are thinking of attending, after all, it will be nice to incorporate several ideas.

You need some sort of dancing - what's a shindig without dancing. How about a costume party, sorry FANCY DRESS party, with prizes for whatever you deem worthy of prizes.

Buffet is a must. Perhaps an art show - do you have any talented group members?

Are there any riding stables near the hotel, perhaps those who are interested can get a lesson and you can arrange group rates.

Something which is wild west or wild space themed. A posse must travel through the city and find 'wanted objects and folk'. Those who catch the most desperados wins. Yes, I'm talking about a photo treasure hunt.

Other ideas escape me right now.
