Did anyone else notice that the Serenity logo is the same color as the Jayne hats? The inside circle is yellow, the outside circle is orange, and the writing is red.

I think it means that in the movie Jayne's mom will make an appearance!

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I think that you're making a big assumption by saying that Jayne's mother will be in the movie just because his hat is the same colours as the Serenity logo. The engine room's full of the same colours, does that mean that Jayne's mom works on engines? But, like I said, I haven't seen the movie yet, you could be completely right. I personally would LOVE to meet Jayne's mom. Can you imagine what she must be like? That would be something to see...

Wow, my sarcasm must be on the fritz today. I was kidding! And I have seen the movie.. so..

Anyway.

That pattern is excellent for beginning knitters (it saved my life with the earflaps) but there are other patterns that I think suit the exact nature of the hat better. I made my own pattern in which I defied the laws of knitting but.. me thinks Ma!Cobb would have too. :cD

That's a big problem with message boards, email, and IM. It is hard to detect when someone is goofing. BTW, thanks for not spoiling. Ever since I learned that River's big secret is that she's made of chocolate I've been devistaed. :wink:

I actually imagine his mother being very lovingly. Like he's a mamma's boy. I mean, come on! That letter she sent him? So mother like and sweet. ^_^ with a kick ass hat to boot!

But yea, Ma Cobb should be in the movie, hell, the whole Cobb family so we can get some bkg info on Jayne. I have this weird suspicision that he has siblings. He seems like the sibling type.

I'm pretty sure Jayne must have siblings. After all, his mom thanks him for the credits and says they've come in handy because "Matty still has the Damplung." I'd assume from that that his mom is taking care of Matty, and that Matty must be one of Jayne's siblings.

Shit! River's made of chocolate? Great, just great you have now ruined the whole damn movie for me! Damn! Does Jayne at least get a bite out of her before she melts? I always wanted those crazy kids to get together, even if it means as a tasty snack.

. . . . BTW: This was all about the sarcasm. Did you hear the one about Book being Mal's dad? Now that's the real shocker in the movie!

BTW: I got a Jayne hat in exchange for Chicago screening tickets and it's gorgeous, not sure if the lovely Chicago Browncoat who whipped that up is around here, but THANKS!
