There's a three page article on Serenity in the Fall Preview edition of SciFi magazine. Here's what it looks like:

http://www.scifi.com/scifimag/

It doesn't cover anything that most flans don't already know, but it's nice to see the pictures all glossy and pretty.

C'mon... a roundtable on the future of sci-fi with Goyer, Moore and Whedon? That's worth the cover price alone!

Moore is the mastermind that removed the late '70s cheese from Battlestar Galactica and turned the premise into a compelling sci-fi drama. Goyer is the comics-to-film heavyweight who wrote Batman Begins (not to mention the very cool Blade and very disturbing Blade II).

Along with Whedon, these guys are the future lords of sci fi! The only person missing from this roundtable is J.J. Abrams.

My only question is: Do they sell this magazine in stores? or do I have to subscribe?

You're right! I totally blanked on the Whedon interview. Which is (by the way) great! (Probably because I haven't had a chance to finish it.)

I bought mine at our local Borders store? They had it out on the magazine rack with everything else in the entertainment section. I wouldn't be surprised if it was also at Barnes and Noble.

Do they sell SciFi Mag in bookstores or do you have to get it by subscription?

Edit: NM, been answered...

Like I said, I bought mine at Borders without a subscription, just getting a single news stand copy. It's got some really good info about upcoming series too.
