I don't care if you buy a tee, I just want to get your opinion on my latest design. Hell, you can criticize my old designs too, if you'd like. I'd like to hear it.

After watching "Out of Gas" the other night I got inspired...

I can't believe I spelled catalyzer wrong in the store description. I'm such a goon. At least I got it right on the shirts.

I love it. Especially since it's likely to start up a conversation...

Cool. That's what I try to go for when I design a shirt. My whole motivation comes from "Get a non-Browncoat to ask me about it and get a Browncoat to regognize it and realize (s)he's among friends.

Yup - love it. Questions will fly, and compliments will ensue (among Browncoats, that is)! Well done.

Yup, we're pretty deep in the dork forest now. That's the shirt that screens at you from across the street that you've found another true believer. Andy my husband might even wear it, since it's mechanical in nature.

In another thread somebody used the line "Job's not done till we're back on the boat" in reference to promoting Serenity (the movie), which morphed into a possible T-shirt idea

"The Screen Job: The Job's Not Done Till We're Back on Serenity."

Any chance you (or someone else) could make it?

I'll kick it around a bit and see what I can come up with. Any ideas what kind of graphics you might want on that tee?

I think it wouldn't need anything too fancy, maybe "The Screen Job" on something that looks like a theatre screen and Serenity in script. Otherwise I'd be content with plain text (no matter how it gets made, I assure you I'm buying one).

Why does your shirt have a hair dryer on it?

Actually I think it's a washing machine part. It's lifted from a screencap from "Out of Gas"

Is your use of Yoyodyne going to get you in trouble? Not that you should worry about misbehavin', of course.

Can't imagine it would. Yoyodyne has been around since 1961 and has been referred to on Buckaroo Banzai and Star Trek with no concerns.

The wikipedia has a great entry on Yoyodyne:

Added another design.

On the back it says:

Zoe: You paid money for this, sir? On purpose?

Mal: What? Come on, seriously, Zoe. Whaddya think?

Zoe: Honestly, sir? I think you got robbed.

Mal: Robbed? What? No. What do you mean?

Zoe: It's a piece of fei-oo.

Mal: Fei-oo? Okay, she won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she's solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die.

Zoe: Cause it's a deathtrap.
