ZDTV! Yeah, that was back in the early days! And still as TechTV they had good stuff - even towrds the end when they had everything from Great Thinkers to Nerd Nation to Body Hits to Call for Help, TechLive, and even the low-brow but funny Unscrewed...

They "merged" with G4TV - a teen gaming channel - and it was supposed to be an equal mix of both - but the G4 shows (and hosts) nudged out most all the old TechTV shows and people, but like Kevin Rose and his girlfriend...in fact, I tuned in one day and all but Kevin where gone (including his roomate who also worked the show) and Kevin looked embarassed and pissed but couldn't say much! But I guess he needs a job...

You knew it was comming too when on all the TechTV shows it was called "G4TechTV" but even on the post-merger G4 shows it was still only called "G4"...

They *used* to repeat ScreenSavers on the weekends, but my new cable doesn't get G4, and I don't much care now, so....I don't know...
