As much as we think it doesn't matter, it's ultimately gonna effect our chances of Serenity part 2 and 3. Now I know we all want this to happen probably more than Joss and all the actors b/c we totally believe in our little ship that could.
But that's not what matters to the people at universal. Don't get me wrong, I'm so glad that universal had faith in this project b/c really Fox gorram sucks. But they are looking at the monetary end. I have no doubt that they will make their $40 million back but in order for it to make $80 million, we as fans have to due our share.
I work at a movie theatre and I could see Serenity for free but I choose to pay so that parts 2 & 3 will come along. I have seen it 5 times in three days and have taken numeours friends who have never seen the show to the movie. All of them have loved it. Now they want to watch the show, then see the movie again.
We just have to keep taking new people to see Serenity so that in a year from now we will all be taking on this site about part 2 and what we think's going to happen to our little ship that could.
