that i have just recently found out about this show (through my wonderful husband). Today my hubby converted and downloaded 2 episodes to my phone for my viewing pleasure on the bus ride to work. My hubby has previously commented that this show is becoming less and less of science fiction as we progressively watch the episodes, and man, i do not mind one bit at all. i was laughing (quietly but oh so obviously) so hard on the bus that people began to stare at me like i'm an idiot. hey maybe if i volunteer to be a companion for one (or more) of the producers that they'd revive the show?

A bit curious....why is the title of your thread "it sucks?" Before I read it I thought you a troll!

I think what sucks is the fact that it ended. That's my take at least, and if I'm right about what was meant then I agree in totality.

I think it will stay science fiction, but more like scifi was in the old days, stories about life and how little technological changes can effect us. space colonies are the single change, clearly, but little ones like the pax will keep showing up. I agree it's better that way then with the overkill of star trek that makes the story read like a technical manual. I already read many technical manuals for my job, I don't want to read ones in klingon about the evolution of dimensional stabilizers.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Welcome to the site Sunshine, and the bittersweet world that is home for us fans of the show.

Your frustration & disappointment are shared by everyone here, but the movie went a long way toward redemption (to borrow the word from our own beloved Adam Baldwin). I am thinking the future is still kind of bright for us, so keep the faith & keep flyin'!

Be sure to introduce the show & movie to all your friends & family! The more, the merrier.
