I am a Johnny Come Lately to the Browncoat movement, and I wanted to tell you all how much I appreciate and love this site and community.

I don't add much, but I find a peacefullness when I log on to this site and read all of your affirmations. It is satisfying to be a part of something bigger than yourself, surrounded by like minded people.

This series and BDM have superseded a singular moment in time for me and have become the catalyst for a life changing (and rewarding) introduction into the 'verse.

I am very thankful for being "led" to this place and for finding this family.

I thank you all.

You summed up my experience exactly.

It was October of last year when I discovered this site, just after I first watched Serenity. Since then I've spent an indecent amount of time here - reading everyone's opinions, adding my own, learning a whole new language (BDH? BDM? Browncoats?) - and it's been the most fun I've had in thirty years (if you don't count that business with the cheerleaders and the yogurt).

As long as we're here, Serenity keeps flying. And that's enough.

I have to agree with you guys. I just recently started looking around for Firefly sites, and found this one. I spend a couple of weeks just reading posts and such, and finally got the courage to join (I've never posted on any boards before). Everyone is so nice, even when they are
disagreeing with me! Trolls aside, I don't think there is anywhere in the 'verse I'd rather be!
