I just checked the online listings, and Serenity's run has been extended at Captain's Family Theater 6 Main Place Mall in Santa Ana, CA. It's showing through Thursday 2/16 at least. It is scheduled at 9 pm through 2/16, PLUS it has an afternoon showing scheduled (3:30 pm) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 2/10-2/12 (read on about that).

FYI: The recording did not include the afternoon showings, so I called the box office (714-547-6145), and they said the 3:30 showings are indeed scheduled F, Sat, and Sun, but they are having video equipment problems right now (Friday), and the 3:30 one if off for today.

PLEASE CALL AHEAD to the *box office* phone number before heading over. It's damn cool to see Serenity on the big screen again, but this theater has been known to have equipment and staffing issues, and I'd hate anyone to waste a trip.

Saddle up! In the interest of full diclosure, this print is a little old, so there are audio glitches the first several minutes and popping in a couple of loud battle scenes. The SoCal Browncoats had a shindig last Saturday to see Serenity with a bunch of Browncoats, and we had a great time, even with the older print.
