I know taht this has been discussed in the past but I do not want to dig through the old post.

Is there any discussion about releasing Firefly and Serenity with more or in Serenity's case any actors commentary? I find it strang that such a character and actor driven creation lacks so much of their stories and opinions.

Thanks

Ive heard nothing about anymore commentaries... Would be nice though - I enjoy all the extras they give with DVD's. Especially the gag reels.

Commentaries from all the cast would have been a plus no doubt - but I imagine it's not an easy thing to negotiate.

Well, I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine a commentary recording would be fairly cheap. I mean it's not like they use expensive film or do 20 takes to get 2 minutes. It's basically like a recording studio with a big screen. I'd imagine if they could schedule a time to do one, all the actors would be more than willing to participate. And given the film studios' love of the double dip, I would say the rumored "Shiny Edition" with an actors commentary is a pretty good possibility.
