Hey all,

Just thought I'd drop in my introduction post.

Been a fan of FF/S for about a month or so now (I know, too little too late :P) after seeing Joss interviewd on TV here in the UK about Serenity. I decided to download the FF eps and read comics before the BDM and I've fallen in love with the show and bought all the dvd's and books I can find hehe.

Any other fans in Scotland? :) hehe

Welcome aboard Spooty! Glad to have you here on the site. Make yourself at home!

Don't worry about being a bit late. Better late than never. We need all the fans we can gather together, now more than ever before.

Right now our future depends on DVD sales of the movie "Serenity", so we are focusing our efforts on pushing the DVDs. We need to introduce the movie to as many new people as we possibly can, anyone who might have any interest whatsoever. We need to post it on messageboards all over the net, post up fliers (some shiny ones here: http://the11thhour.home.att.net/ ) in comic shops, game shops, book stores, school bulletin boards, office memo boards (all with permission of course) or anywhere else you can think of.

Spread the word! Keep flyin'!

We're so glad you found our shiny show, and I know Joss is, too.

With any luck, FollowMal will be along to issue your virtual browncoat.

I'm on galley duty, and we always start with strawberries. There are so many of us now that we can't sit around the table -- have to do it buffet style and it's at least as pretty as the one in Shindig. Wife soup is nearly ready for you. I'll get you an ice-planet from the cooler. Grab a tin mug and a plate and dig in.

I am like you, a little late on the fan wagon. I have been a fan for a few months now, and am completely obsessed. I have never been this passionate about a TV show and a movie, that is for sure.

Hope you enjoy the site, and also remember to check out the Firefly soundtrack if you can get your hands on it. Takes you back to all the scenes from the series...

I have a theory, that in addition to the fact that this is probably the best sci-fi to come out in years, if not ever, we all are victims of the law of supply and demand. We are more rabid than we otherwise would be because of the fact that those *@#$!^'s took it away from us, which I hope will have some positive effect in that we will generate more hubbub and DVD revenue and therefore cause them (or someone else) to see the error of their ways and give it back to us so they can make even more money on it.
