OOPS.... forgot to write something when i hit the enter button... Writing the post now...

Well... that sucked. I hit the damn enter button too many times after writing the title. I just got ahead of myself. Anyway heres the post:

The "Redemption' project is a Fan film project that a few browncoats have taken up and have been working hard on a script that will make Joss proud.

This is the original post here: http://fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=14949

We have a few different scripts in the works and soon we'll be starting the casting process.

We have a couple of websites, one has more information and spoilers then the other one. I'm just wrting this post to give a little update.

~~~
We have 6 characters:
Will Hawkins: A former Alliance Officer that served during the war, but was dishonorably discharged early on and has since been exiled to the rim.
Amy Frost: Will's childhood friend and skilled pilot. She dropped everything to follow Will to the rim.
Damsel Arce: A former Browncoat that grew disheartened with both sides and went AWOL from the war.
Joss Farrell: The gifted mechanic and computer hacker of the 'Redemption'. He's a born tickerer and has a passion for computers.
Emiline Choi: A core doctor with an interesting past.
Zekk Leong: An incredibly smart and deductive killer. He has been described as Sherlock as a killer.
~~~

I won't go into too much detail of the characters history, but I can tell you that their all incredibly rich characters and you won't be disappointed with the stories we have.

We have set the story in our own fancannon. The story we're telling is about the original owners of the 'Firefly' before Mal bought her at the shipyard. This story is about the crew that owned it before and how the ship got to be in that shipyard.

We should have the finalized version of the script in the next couple of weeks and the casting will begin not long after that.

We have some really talented people working on this prject. Some great writers, planners, and CGI artists. It's looking to be a project to look forward to, but I'm a little biased being on the writing crew.

Check us out. We would loive to have more help if you're willing to. We need more people for the long haul.

http://www.fireflylives.co.nr/ <- This one has a lot of spoilers and if you want to stay spoiler free than I suggest you stay out of the 'Writing Section'.
http://www.redemption.tv <- not much there yet, but there will be soon.

Thanks for listening. Stay shiny.

Just a small bump to get the edit noticed.

Looks shiny. The characters are not just the crew from Serenity with their genders and names switched a bit (although the doctor DOES kind of look like Simon in drag. Ha ha! Just kidding. Kind of), they look like they're fully fleshed out. I hope your story is as good as it seems, and I'll be boppin' over to your website to check it out eventually. Hope it turns out good- this is looking really ambitious! Keep up the good work.

Does look real shiny. Sounds like an interesting idea for a story, as well.

Good luck, and I hope it all works out well for you. :)

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

A very interesting concept, especially the part about finding out how "Serenity" wound up in the used ship yard.

Keep us updated.

We're trying to make it the very best we can. I feel we have some very talented writers and CGI Artists on our crew [Again Biased, ].

It's been real fun so far and I really hope it gets as far as we're trying to take it.
