I think that it is possible. If you save the theme as a midi file, a notation editing program can put it into notation for you. I know Sibelius 3 Definately does, and I think Finale 2004 does too. If you need it, I might be able to help.

If you go to download.com, you can probably find a program that can change music filetypes. With any luck, there is one that can change wav into midi. Do you need the wav file?

I was surfing today looking for penny whistle music to use with my Brownies, when I spotted a link to the Firefly theme tune. http://www.fullbodyburn.com/files/Set2/Firefly.pdf
I've had a go, but my fingering is not very good. It does sound OK though. Check out the line at the bottom of the page.

I don't know how easy it would be to transpose it to the violin.
