Yesterday, my cousin stopped over with family, and since he wanted to test my new plasma TV, I put in Firefly. We ended up deporting the kids into the bedroom with a Disney-Video and watched the first Firefly episode. He really liked it, so when they went of, I immediately hooked up to Amazon and bought the DVD-set for him as a surprise gift. Well, this morning, I received an e-mail, that he has ordered it himself already ... (so we have a leftover for one more now!)

So, FollowMal, where is my very own Browncoat? I'm proud as Kaylee fixing the compression coil!

Doesn't it feel great to turn someone else on to the 'verse we love?

Since FollowMal hasn't found you yet, I'll offer you the loan of one of my recycled browncoats. Might not fit perfectly, and there'll be a few patches and stains, but it should hold you until FM catches up.

Just drop it off in the storeroom when you're done with it, so I can fix it up for another new recruit. And it'll have even more stories by then!

I made a little convert and sent him out into the world with his very own Browncoat shirt. He went to an amusement park over the weekend and 12 people walked up to him to comment on it.

That's great. I wore my Serenity shirt to school and no one commented on it :( except my friends who already know I'm obsessed. Oddly enough though, I still don't have an actual Browncoat.

I also have to report on success over new recruits! I loaned one of my copies of Firefly to friends for the summer and I just heard they watched the whole thing! And then they rented the movie! Wahoo! New recruits. Now just to tell them about this place...
