MARATHON MADNESS!!!

A few months back, I mentioned that my wife and I were planning a marathon Firefly session. Well, we're doing it...

Tomorrow, we've got people coming over in the morning to get started with the watching.

We've got Fruity Oaty bars (I made) with wrappers (my wife made). We're having Mudder's Milk (scotch & coconut milk). We're having bao. We're having strawberries. We're having Kaylee's Hot Cheese Sauce (from FashionablyBrown). We're having fortune cookies (an American-invented Chinese food, so very, very appropriate)with Firefly-related fortunes (my wife spent a lot of time removing the old fortunes and inserting the new ones).

The invitations were Independent Army deployment orders for the 57th Overlanders (an ex-Air Force Staff Sergant made them).

We've got Serenity (from Chihuahua's website) and cut-outs of our BDH ("borrowed" the images from Captain BaggyTrousers-he shouldn't mind as he's an old friend...WHO NEVER WRITES ME!!!!).

Anyway, it should be long and crazy and fun! If we take pics, I'll post them here.

That sounds like it's going to be one fun shindig. I plan on watching Firefly episodes while cleaning my SA M1911A1 TRP.

Last night I did the big cleaning and greasing on my SA XD-40 while watching "Bushwacked". Oh, I was using the coffee table to put all my guns and cleaning supplies on.
