STINKINGROSE

One of the women at work's daughter just had big surgery. I knew they'd liked Buffy, so I sent home disc one of Firefly. The daughter's boyfriend had watched Serenity (had it at home), and borrowed it before she could watch it. I made a declaration about it having been *intended* for theraputic distraction during a recuperation. He did bring it back, and they're on disc 2. She's calling her mother at work asking "did she bring it?!"
(moue)
I've loaned out Serenity to someone else at work twice. She's only got one night a week and her movie watching friend just can't get into it.
I told her maybe three's the charm.
Offered it to another coworker but she's into a puzzle until Friday, so it went home with someone who thinks they'll be able to watch it tomorrow then bring it back for the Friday date.
I was going to make a graphic and tasteless remark about spreading FF faster than contagious social diseases, but decided that was inappropriate.
I'll keep loaning out the discs as fast and far as I can.

FF contagion analogous to that of
a social disease?
What a concept.
Probably spot on.
