Howdi Boys and Girls, it is i M0d0 Here to say a few things.

Firstly ive read thourgh some news and other posts and still havent been able to find anything on the release date of Firefly, does anyone have any idea, has it even been decided yet.

Secondly, congrats to the whole team that produces the class show called Angel.. That by far the yard stick series. Keep up the good work. What do you guys think about this seasons Angel?

Thirdly, Congrats to the peeps that produce Buffy. That was a hard and experiemntal season, but non-the-less one of the most entertaining shows on TV. Personally i think something need to be done with the fight scenes But hey who am i, im just a guy sat at a PC. Anyone else share the same thoughts?

I'll address these in order...

1. I don't think the release date has been decided yet. But it'll be a Friday... in the fall... but maybe I'm just re-stating the obvious

2. Angel was very high-concept this season... unfortunately, I thought it was poorly executed with the exception of a few stand-out episodes (Waiting in the Wings, Loyalty, Sleep Tight, and Lullaby)

3. I thought that Buffy was hard and experimental too. Some of the experiments turned out successful... some, not so much. I thoroughly enjoyed from Entropy up to Grave (the last... lemme think... five episodes). The death of was a *very* gutsy move, one that I did not expect (an extraordinarily devestating move, but one that is perfectly understandable. Her character had reached her climax with "Seeing Red," and it was the perfect time to end her story, IMO). I've been watching Buffy from day one... seen every episode from the beginning, and this season was my favorite, maybe *because* they took so many chances in the storytelling. I *loved* this season... but apparently I'm in the minority in Buffy fan community. Oh well, I really wouldn't trust many of their judgements anyway... (can we say some of the fans are *entirely* too involved in the series? Don't get me wrong, I'm involved... I worship Joss, but some of the fans are psychotically involved, so much so that certain characters' deaths impose upon the normal functions of their everyday life (see the Buffy season finale thread)).

Whoa... I swear I didn't mean to write a novel!

EDIT: Sorry Tieka! I wish there were some way to make you forget what you wrote! I feel *awful!

LOL...I was just testing something and needed to post a message. Didn't really read what I wrote. But I would like to know when FOX will let everyone know the titles and airdate of the 13 Firefly episodes. That way I can start working on the episode guide.

An episode guide would be really nice... I'm interested in knowing how Joss is going to do the title-ing for Firefly... even if he doesn't do something creative, I still would like to know the episode titles.

I haven't been able to watch Buffy and Angel this season, but I've been recording them. Unfortunetly I missed a couple of eps, so I'm waiting until I have all of them before I watch. I've actually managed to survive this long without major spoilers.....until now.

I don't know about other viewers in other countries but I'm sure that a lot of people haven't seen this season. I know you were excited about the show, but please remember to warn people about spoilers.

Oh no... I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I feel horrible! I know how insanely pissed I would have been had I been spoiled of that! Sorry again!

I guess you wouldn't believe me if I said I was just joking?

Hurry, quick! Spoil something for me! It'll make you feel better!

Oh, I wish I wish I wish there were a way I could change the past... Oh, I'm an idiot!

I'd like to give big thanks to Joss Whedon and company for the work they've done on Buffy/Angel. I'm behind half a season on each show (thank God for VCRs!) but I'll be watching the eps this week I hope. Then I can talk episodes!

Other thanks go to J. Michael Straczynski for giving us Babylon 5 which is a show that has touched me like no other. Thanks, Joe.

Big thanks to Best Brains for Mystery Science Theater 3000, one of the best shows to ever air on television. I'm a Canuck so I wasn't able to see all the eps, but I loved what I did see and it's unfortunate that Sci-Fi canned the show. So no thanks to Sci-Fi.

Also no thanks to Chris Carter who had a great series in The X-Files and completely botched it. I liked it up to the end of Season 6 but after that it lost something.

I could go on but I'll end it here. Thanks.

It's all right. I understand your enthusiasm. Especially right after seeing a great episode, you want to talk about it. Sometimes we just get carried away.

Now for punishment, you must summarize the entire nine year X-Files mythology including all species of aliens, all plots, all counter-plots, and all government involvement in less than 50 words.

Well, Carter didn't answer my questions, so maybe you can.

Tieka,

There's no way I'll feel alright about ruining the most shocking Buffy development ever... but I'll try to move on There's no excuse for my behavior! But thanks for your forgiveness, anyway!

NOW... for the X-Files summary...

Um... 50 word or less, eh? I can do it in 3.

"The Smoking Man."

That's it.

X-Files bothered me from season two until the movie, which I enjoyed, and then till season 9. I just don't get the appeal... maybe if I'd have watched it religiously, I would have been sucked in... but as it is, I can't say I ever liked it.

You *are* aware that the same creative team behind Buffy is the team behind Firefly, are you not? If you like Buffy so much, there is a *great big heaping chance* that you'll enjoy Firefly just as much, if not more! It's a very original concept, a Space Western, and just because it is science fiction placed in space does not mean that it is at all similar to Star Trek and Star Wars. Joss Whedon, the creator of both Firefly and Buffy, has stated that it will in fact be that "Anti-Star Trek" and that there will be no aliens, which automatically eliminates all similarities to Star Wars, a series based *entirely* on non-human characters. There are also some amazing writers behind Firely, so I think you're cursing it before you even give it a chance.

I also loved Babylon 5, but I'm really annoyed that a spinoff-series never seems to succeed. B5 was a great series, & there is so much story left to tell!

Here is what I'd like to do to the stupid network-executives who keep screwing up B5's chances to go on--
