North Texas CSTS Location, Date Set

I'm a little giddy, because we've got the location set for this year's North Texas Can't Stop The Serenity event http://dallas.cantstoptheserenity.com].

It's at the Studio Movie Grill in Arlington [ http://www.studiomoviegrill.com/arlington.html]. The theatre, which has its grand opening this weekend, is a HUGE facility that is just beautiful. (When I think of the crackerboxes a lot of new multiplexes have become, I'm glad the SMG folks went for the more elegant route.)

The plans now are for Saturday, June 23, 2007 with a 10:00 pm showtime. There are special guests in the works -- one confirmed, two in negotiations -- but I'll hold that news back until we get closer to the time we start selling tickets.

If you missed last year's event, ask people who went. It was one helluva good time. Be sure you get there for this year's shindig.
