I just made a couple new converts to Firefly (by lending them the DVDs -- they really do all the work themselves). As I was handing her the graphic novel (Serenity: Those Left Behind) for her perusal, we talked a bit about how hard it is for non-comic readers like us to get the hang of it.

Then she said, "Wouldn't it be great if the actors would do a voiceover CD to go with the graphic novel, almost like a radio play? That way we could hear all the lines the way they would say them, we'd have the pictures to guide us visually, and it would be way cheaper than producing the TV show (until they can get that off the ground again, of course)."

And I thought, What a fantastic idea!

And then I thought, Let me run it by the Browncoats, to see whether anyone else thinks it would be a fantastic idea, and does anyone have a mailing address for Joss.

So here we are :)
