I was told I was getting obsessed with all things Browncoat so I took a break and tried to return to normal life - work and stuff like that.

It's no good.

This is still the most gorram obsession-inducing TV series and film I have encountered yet. So I am back to re-visiting favourite episodes.

I have also got my decent sound card working again so I can now record parts of the Serenity DVD sound track in 24-bit 48-kHz glorious detail, as David Newman's score deserves. It should have got an Oscar in its own right. I now have the true end credits music - not just the truncated version as on the CD. The guitar rendition of Joss's tune at the end is sublime. The solo cello gets me every time too. Idiot industry to abandon this stuff.

Obsessed? Hell yes.

I'm on the same side as you
I'm just a little behind == Chan Marshall a.k.a. Cat Power

P.S. Just seen "It's been many moons since I watched "Firefly" " from AGIRLYMAN

That's what I was trying to say - I feel just the same way. When Firefly leaves us (and Early) behind at the end of Objects in Space that induces a deep sense of longing for Firefly-that-could-have-been every time I watch it. Not just the series but for the cast. They have become family and now they fade to black.

REDHEAD

Not fair! I'm supposed to be getting ready to go to a fundraiser and now I want to stay home and watch Objects in Space again.

The soundtrack to Serenity is the score behind my life. Literally. It's on in my office, it's on in my car, I listen to it when I do spreadsheets.
I love this music.

When it's not playing the score of Firefly is.

I don't watch Firefly as much as I used to. But at least once a week, I still have to watch an ep.
It's like going home.

I could never leave the 'Verse for long, my heart would break I'm sure.

*hugs*

Welcome back.

"Remember once you've been to Serenity you never leave you just learn ti live there." Zoe deleted scene of Serernity pilot.

We are Browncoats a phenomenon much like the Beattle fans I think. Overly enthusiastic and misunderstood.
