I was intrigued by the ads so I gave it a shot. Overall I thought it was pretty good. I certainly didn't go nuts over it though. I think the cast is very strong, and the pilot set up the plot nicely with many possibilities for future storylines. However:

I was wanting the story arch about the problems with his wife to be spread out over a longer period. Having that conflict concluded in the pilot was a bad choice, in my opinion. But his continued interaction with his ex-girlfriend, (whom he thought was dead?) Livia does have some terrific possibilities.

I'll keep watching it because I'm very curious as to where it will go. And I really dig this type of Sci-Fi time-bending story line.

Now I need to watch Chuck. It's sitting safe and sound on my Tivo.

STOWEAWAY

I was suprised that they didn't waste any time on backstory. The time travel started in the first 2 minutes of the show.
It had enough unexpected plot twists to keep me interested. My husband was doubly impressed. We'll watch it again next week.
