Crikey ! I used to have these , also !

The mule was on display at Universal Studios in

California . Don't know if it still is...

Would be good if you could contact the Southern California Browncoats , as some of them may have good pics , or have put them in their group files area...I'm pretty sure that there were once good pics available as downloads from the official Serenity movie site created by Universal , but that may not be the case anymore...I will take a look-see into my photo files , because I once had Mule pics stored on Yahoo photo , before they quit the photo biz and the pics got transferred somewhere else...It's a really good idea for you to produce an *accurate* Mule , because that could come along much sooner than a Serenity kit , and might help raise the coin to get a nice Serenity done...

Let us know when you find what you want...I've seen a couple of scratchbuilt Mules that were *close* , but not as good as they could have been...

One more thing , there was a LEGO Mule that was very nice , and I figure that fellow had some good reference pics , so you could ask him...I think it was a site called 'Reasonably Clever'.
Google that , with 'Lego Mule' in the search , and I think you'll find an email address on his site where you can ask for refernce material...

Good Hunting !

Whoa Howdy ! Nice...Either scale would be great !

I'll do some more looking...Will send a photo

soon...More as I find 'em !

Also , that QMx reference pack has some blueprints...There was a PDF file that they sent me to preview at one time ,
that had some Mule-ish drawings , that looked to be drawn from the studio prop...

You should pick up the Serenity Visual Companion. They had a section on the Mule. Some of it was the prototype possibilities which were not used, but still stuff (I think also drawings) of the one used. Of Course, copyrighted material.

TWO

The Joss Whedon script for Serenity, where Wash lives, is Serenity-190pages.pdf at www.mediafire.com/folder/1uwh75oa407q8/Firefly

Sean Kennedy from www.seansgallery.com has six reference pictures of a 3D model and a sixteen second long movie that looks at the mule from all sides. He either made the computer model or, maybe, knows who did. The URL's for this information is below:

Maybe pages 26, 56-60, 74 might help.
