hey all,

i read somewhere that a Firefly soundtrack would probably be released, but i can't find any info on it whatsoever..

anyone here know more about it? like if it's true, or maybe a release date..

it would be awesome, i love the scoring in the show...

one goes into the house of eleven eleven times but always comes out one

Yes it is true, Chris Buchanan the head honcho of Mutant Enemy said that due to the significant orders of Firefly DVD's and how well it is selling, they are seriously considering this, there was a post on here a while ago with his quote, I will dig it out and post again.

According to a message posted by Mutant Enemy CEO, Chris Buchanan, Mutant Enemy and FOX Music are currently working on a Firefly score soundtrack.

Here's what Buchanan posted on the official FOX site:

We (Mutant Enemy & Fox Music) are currently working on a Firefly score soundtrack. While I can't really get into the details, we hope to have a soundtrack available in 2004, perhaps via an "alternative" distribution channel. I will post any actual news on the offical board, but know that we are working on it.
