Yesterday I went to the Canadian National (Comic/SF/Horror/Anime) Exposition. I was kind of hoping to see some people wearing Blue Sun shirts there... sadly, I didn't see a one. Granted, I wasn't there for long, but, still disappointing!

Course, I wasn't wearing one either (I ordered it but sadly it didn't arrive in time. :(), so I guess really it doesn't mean there weren't any browncoats there, but I was kind of hoping to see someone wearing a Blue Sun shirt so I could give them a smile and a nod.

I was there on Sunday in disguise as my t-shirt hadn't arrived either. It was the fault of the courier.

Great expo. First one I'd been to in four or five years, when it was quite third-rate. Quite clearly, anime rules. The girls sure looked cute and cool in the costumes of their favourite anime characters.

BTW, 26,000 attended! That must be a record.

Actually, there where a few people from Canadian BrownCoats there althought they where mostly hanging with the Buffy crowd.

If you are interesting in joining a yahoo list for Canadian BrownCoats - many from the Ontario area - go to:

KHEM

Hi, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone out there. We were there but lurking with the Buffy crowd. Birds of a feather kind of thing.

Do you know that Jonathan Woodward - Tracey from the Message - will be in the Toronto area next weekend for Sunnydale Central?

You can get more information at www.primedia.ca/sunnydale

Looks like a good event.
