Hey...
I thought I would throw this out to any other browncoats who attended DragonCon. Did anybody else think of about a dozen great questions...AFTER the con was over. I went this year determined not to forget all these great questions I had in my head, just in case I actually got a chance to ask anything of our BDHs. (Last year, I turned into a complete idiot when I met James Marsters)
I got one chance to ask a question, during the Bad boys of Buffy/Angel panel with Nathan Fillion..what did I do? turned into a moron and could only remember one of the questions I had in my head and it was the dorkiest one. I asked Nathan if he had any hesitation getting involved in sci-fi, since he had done a soap and he knows how little credit both genres get. (okay, it sounded like a way better question in my head). Of course he answered that "hey, it was Joss!" and that he had no hesitation whatsoever. That was great!
But afterwards I thought of a bunch of others. For example, during all those fight scenes, which I know are well choreographed and rehearsed, did he ever miscalculate and actually whack anybody? OR As an actor does it take away from a scene when they have to do it several times. both great questions, I thought. too bad I turned into too much of a moron to remember them when I stepped in front of that microphone.
Anybody else think of something AFTER???

Wanted to ask Nathan if there was any life in Alligator Point. Never thought to ask it in the Q & A sessions and totally brain faded when I got to the autograph table. DUH.

When I got to the autograph table, Nathan shook my hand and after that I lost all intelligent thought. I selected the picture I wanted him to sign and he asked me why I picked that one. It's the one where he's got this very serious expression..dark...yummy...(sorry)...Anyway, I said something stupid like "because your in character..on board Serenity" he was sweet and left it at that, but I KNOW I sounded like a dork. I calmed down a little and thanked him for coming down here in late summer when it's so hot. GREAT...now I had resorted to talking about the weather!!
I don't get it. All three of them were so down to earth, so friendly and appreciative of the fans. and STILL it's just nerve wracking meeting these people!!
