May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Ok Browncoats here they are as promised, my photos of Dragon Con, or at least part of them. We will be posting up more this week:

http://nazumisworld.homestead.com/Index.html

Dragon Con was an experience I will never forget. Now we just have to see what we can do to top it next year.

MHERRICK

Hey Browncoat1,

Great pics! It looked like a fantasic convention. I'm kicking myself for not going (seeing my film won an award). Admittedly, it would mean a international flight, but man those costumes were amazing.

Thanks for the photos.

No problem Mherrick. The thanks really goes to my wife who downloaded the photos & set up the page last night. She did a great job.

Should have more photos up this week sometime.

All three of them were so great and down to earth. They were happy to talk to fans, pose for photos and come by the Browncoat table (Jewel came by several times).

Nathan, Jewel and Adam made this a Dragon Con I will never forget.

great shots, guys! We did have fun, didn't we?

Oh, BTW, I'm just "Sue"...I think 11th Hour's name is "Susan". Let's just say that my full name gets me lots of "JR" & "Dallas" comments and/or total mispronounciations of the name, 'cause Mom made it alloneword instead of two...

... fully loaded, safety off...

Thx for the fun photos. Question: Did you see any photographers there with their own booths set-up with commercial gear - backdrop(s) and high power strobes (flashes) etc? I see all those costumes and I think of what a great book/collection they could make.

Great pics BC1. Gives those of us that were not able to make it this year even more motivation to be there next year. Looked like a lot of fun was had by all.

In the past, there was at least one commercial photog with a booth...he took my pic in 2000. I didn't see any this year, but there was a set up in the art room where you could be photographed and put into a scene of your choice digitally. There was also one guy with a major portable set up roaming around, and his ID said "Girls of DragonCon"...It wouldn't surprise me one little bit, but I didn't see the *essential* videographer with him...

Yeah, no pro photographers at Dragon Con this year. Seems that a photo book would make a great seller for Dragon Con to pull in more revenue.

You know SHK, Autumn got two pics up at the Girls of Dragon Con. The pics they take seem to be primarly costume and in good taste.

Sorry about the name thing SHK. I will get my wife to fix it this evening.

SOUPCATCHER

Great pics, Browncoat1. I remembered you talking about the coat you bought in another thread and I was looking forward to seeing pictures of it. Nice buy! But it's not just the coat, the whole ensemble looks great!! You're going to rock the theater on BDM-Day.

Editted to add: Okay, I got to the second page. "His and Hers Mullet Sighting". Priceless.

I shaved off my beard for you, devil woman!

Thanks SoupCatcher! I appreciate it.

I spent no small amount of time and effort on gathering the articles for the costume SoupCatcher. I think it was all worth the effort. Just to have our BDHs comment on what a great costume it was made it all worthwhile.

My wife saw that guy at our daughter's school football game and could not resist snapping a picture. She said no one would believe us if we told them without a pic to back it up.

Wow...Jewel looks so pretty. Looks like she lost the extra weight they asked her to put on for the series.
