Come on Browncoats,

It is awesome that so many people vote for Firefly and love the show/bdm.

BUT! Let Universal know you are alive! How you ask? Keep active on the Sci-Fi BBoard for Firefly. Keep posting and chatting. Let's make it the most active board over there. Who knows, if Sci-Fi knows how many of us fans are out there someone could bring back the series. It happened to Family Guy and now Futurama. (Both on Fox and cancelled also sheesh)

I second this...

We had a time this past summer when we were encouraging folks to join and post over there.

If all the boards went over there and posted in addition to their home boards it would make Universal/NBC/SciFi take notice. They're a combined entity folks...they need to see active Browncoats.

What a great idea!

Add that to the guerilla marketing threads, please?!!

We need to start thinking of productive, active, good things to do for the holidays.

Maybe a toy drive too.. take it out of the realm of we want and into the realm of.. sharing with others too.

We are mighty and I predict we can do several things before the holidays.

We can write, we can share and we can buy DVD's.
We also need to start a crew planning how to promote the Viral Ads/Paper Caper campaign before the holidays. 11th Hour first then TDBrown has that all layed out, all we need to do is start organinizing it. 11th Hour's original posts on it contain some really good advice on how to do it and TDBrowns later suggestions might work well in a more conservative paper environment.

I keep thinking it might be nice to mail Universal ahead of time and ask them for the Shiny Edition DVD before the holidays. Then we could do our DVD buying push and it would be a wonderful thing to get Serenity with new extras and such.

Eveyone might think about that. As for who to write, it's pretty much Universal ( they have just been the best!!, SciFi and even Joss. We might make the month of November thank Joss month.
