Some nice folks there already. Drop a line or two about how you are enjoying the show. Maybe even Thank FOX for promoting the show like CRAZY!

Maybe it will help us get another BDM, or maybe not. I don't know. Either way it will be nice to see Tim & Nathan becoming house hold names. They certainly deserve it.

See ya over there!

MISSTRESSAHARA

It's an ok show, not edge of my seat like heroes but alright. I might steer over there.

Btw, just wanted to clear someting up, regardless if it does well or not won't determine if we get a sequel since that will be up to Universal, NOT fux. Universal got the rights to the movie so unless you mean this helping Nathan's star rise enough to get Universals attention it's not relevant. Just wanted to clear that up.

PIRATENEWS

John Lee, conspiracy therapist at Hollywood award-winner History Channel-mocked SNL-spoofed PirateNew.org wooHOO!!!!!!

I missed it while screwing up my voluntary taxes for the illegal IRS.

If Nathan didn't shoot a cop in the head, and if it promotes the police state, then Fox probably won't kill it, since it'll sell the propaganda to the sheeple.

Propaganda sold by DRIVE:

(1) the sheeple don't have a Constitutionally guaranteed God-given Natural right to travel without a license
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3150298931467182492&hl=en

(2) the sheeple don't have a right to speed (breach of un-Constitutional voluntary driver license contract) - driving 212 mph on a public highway is LEGAL in many nations:
https://video.indymedia.org/en/2007/02/721.shtml

(3) police state death squads are good for you
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3386531596598980684&hl=en

Now if DRIVE were about folks demanding their Constitutional right to travel without a voluntary driver license contract, driving 212 mph like on the History Channel's Modern Marvels "The Autobahn" (in Germany and Montana USA which have no speed limit), and winning all trials pro se in traffic court, shooting cops in the head for attempted carjacking and armed robbery (traffic tickets), then Fox would broadcast the last show first, cancel the series halfway thru, with zero promotion, then force Universal to sign a contract to never broadcast reruns on TV.

"How can I get the Captain to shoot a cop in the face, and make it right? That extra moment of sadism - that's the thing that says it's okay, buddy, you're not up to spec, you're going down!"

I enjoyed Drive as well, will make my mondays busier than my fridays(mon:Drive 8p,Heroes 9p,The Riches 10p)(fri: sci-fi friday)
but keep in mind fux also promoted Firefly heavily BEFORE it aired, then almost nothing once the show started, so we'll see...

LISTER

Someone must have just got a speeding ticket....

I thought Drive was much better than I was expecting, especially all the last minute changes they apparently did.

It was a nice suprise to see Captain Mal and Jubal Early facing off again in the opening scene I must say.

One would think that in this life
Where no two snowflakes are alike
One would have a brilliant rhyme
For each and every bit of time.

GINGER08

I set aside my sunday to watch and I must say i was very impressed. I haven't seen Nathan Fillion in anything I haven't loved yet. I can't wait till next week's episode!

Also out of curiousity, last night when he told the cop that 'He (the cop) woudln't want to see the "real" Alex Tully' did anyone else immediately think "You wanna see the real me now?" from War Stories? cause well, I did.

Loved seeing Early again by the way.

Here's hoping it doesn't get canceled and Nathan Fillion becomes a household name.

DECLAN

I was a bit disappointed by the pilot on Sunday (Eps 1 & 2). It seemed too much a fictional reality show with no reason except to have a car chase. But with Nathan in it, I decided to give it a another chance on Monday (Ep 3). Now, it's getting a bit more interesting... and sinister.

Loved Early also but isn't the quote that you are thinking about from the BDM? When Mal is talking about going to war? That you don't want to see him go to war?

Well, wherever it was from, it did resonate with him and was a nice in-joke for the faithful.
