Hey browncoats... It's that time again! Time for another Firefly Watch Party!

By now, you probably know the drill... we run a poll to see which four episodes we're gonna watch, then we all pile into a TweetChat room, fire up Netflix, and watch the episodes you folks pick!

Why Netflix, you ask? Well it's pretty simple, really... They're picking up a ton of original programming, but more importantly, they've started resurrecting old, cancelled TV shows that also happen to have rabid fanbases. Sound familiar?

Keep in mind, this is pure, rampant speculation, but even the Captain himself seems to think its an idea at least worth considering! Here's the tweet that makes us think so: http://goo.gl/NAzEy

So, given all that, we want to show Netflix just how much we'd love it if they somehow got the rights to make more Firefly. The only way to do that is to get as many people watching through Netflix as is humanly possible. If you don't want/can't get Netflix, don't worry! You can just watch right along with us any way you can!

So join us Tuesday, December 20th at 8:00 PM EST (that's 01:00 UTC) and let Netflix know how many of us there are!

That link in the middle is to Nathan's twitter where he links to an article about why Netflix should pick up our BDHs. So, c'mon, join up, fellow Browncoats! It's been too long since we did something like this.

Maybe for those of you who don't have Netflix, you should go to this page:
https://signup.netflix.com/MediaCenter/ContactPR

& tell them you'd sign up if they'd pick up new episodes like they're doing with Arrested Development.

Here's a form message I just made up:

To Whom it May Concern,

I am a Browncoat, a loyal follower of the brief but fantastic television show, Firefly, which your esteemed streaming service carries. While many of my fellow Browncoats are having a "watch party" tonight to show their support for the show and encourage your company to see the benefits of picking up new episodes of the series just as you are doing with Arrested Development, I will not be taking part because I am not a member of your service. However, I will be watching the show tonight off of my personal DVD collection and would like your company to know that were Firefly to be resurrected, I would subscribe to your service as soon as the news came out.

As a Browncoat I am part of a large fan community and know that I am not the only person who would do so. Please consider the many merits of adding this original content to your library.

Thank you for your time,

Let's do this Browncoats!
