I think some sick director just really wanted to film all the young naked boys and girl.

Other than that I think they have a tough job. That's going to be a hard movie to pull off. It's also supposed to be sorta a combo of Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow. So we'll see.

i read about this a little while ago. the project seems to be a little bit in limbo as there is no one really attached to it yet aside from the director (and he was busy making troy recently). i think it would be pretty neat, but tricky. i heard a rumor it might be animated, but that is apparently not likely. i am most curious to see the scenes with the training battles!

I've been hearing about this movie for about 8 years now, and the script has been written for at least 6. It's one of those things that pops up every now and then in discussions, but there hasn't been any real progress towards an actual movie in quite a long time.

I love the book. I think it should stay a book. I only say this out of a fear that whoever directs it will completely screw it up in order to commercialize it. Look what they did to Queen of the Damned. It was just a cryin' shame. Just thinking about the way that gay-leaning Lestat ends up with Jesse at the end...Urg! Don't get me started.

I'm wondering, (haven't heard) if they are going to go with Ender as a six year old or will they make him 12-13.

In spite of Card's comments on the mind of a six year old genius, Ender's physical prowess and thought processes required a lot of suspension of disbelief on my part.

Should be a great flick if they ever get it done.

Well, many books have been butchered by Hollywood but a bad film does not diminish the book. Ender's Game is a story that can be told on film. Whether or not it will be well told is an unknown

I heard it was supposed to be a combination of Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead allthough it makes sense that they'd throw in a few things from Ender's Shadow. Personally even though I think Ender's Game is a superior I'd rather see Speaker for the Dead made into a movie and explain the events of Ender's Game in the beggining. I just don't think many child actors could do a good job with any of the characters in Ender's Game.

Well I think there have been several different scripts I know Card wrote a draft and more recently the guys that wrote X-2.
