Ya don't have to, but might you consider it ? No clue what you're post is suppose to mean.

TMURRIE

Perhaps it's just the fact that you didn't see it coming? But of course that would be dumb, seeing as the fourth, fifth, AND sixth movies were made and released many a year ago, back when afros were everywhere, and the Star Wars nerd was just being created.

But you of course saw it coming right?

right?

am I right on this one?

Of course it's a foregone conclusion. But it still doesn't take away the emotional impact one gets when you see Anakin choking his pregnant wife. That was the moment that did it for me, actually. That was the moment in the film that really drove home the epicness of the perquel trilogy. I figured that that would be the moment that would silence the vindictive, "George Lucas raped my childhood" idiots and prove that he hasn't lost his touch.

"Couldn't we at least abduct their political or religious leaders instead of just any idiot in a pick-up truck?"

"I'm sure the Great Leader has his reasons."

"Well I'm sure the Great Leader is just some sort of twisted ass freak."

"All right, I am now offically ignoring you, commence anal probing."

Ignoring me? Like that's news to me. I dont care. Ignore away. Take a number and get in line.

Even though This is not what I started this thread about. When I saw Annikin choking padme his wife, I realized that I wanted to kill him. I realized that I hate men. I hate all men. Men are cruel and evil, and they care nothing about anything or anyone. Who would strangle his pregnant wife?

No wonder Padme died. She lost hope. She gave up living. Her one true love was trying to kill her, and in a strange way, she thought it was her fault.

A promise...any promise made by a guy is an empty one.

Humans are so fucking stupid.

Sweetie, that's really harsh. Before you go all Alanis, just remember that not all us dudes go around squeezing our honeys necks and go Dark Side.

Wanna Know something? I really liked the Star Wars Prequels. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
I Love Star Wars and Firefly. Isn't it unbelievable??!?!?!

STORYMARK

Sounds like someone needs a hug.

Seriously, though, if that is truely your view of all men, I imagine you've had some very unpleasant experiences. You have my sympathies. In the past, going through some very rough days, I have thought very simmilar things about women - though I do not cling to those beliefs.

I'll grant you, many, many men cannot and should not be trusted. I'd also agree that evil men far outnumber the evil women (useing evil in an extremely broad sence), but we're not all evil.

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him."

I'm sorry.
I'm not quite myself and I should not post if I'm going to behave like a hotheaded idiot. Please just ignore what I have to say.

SINGATE

Since a fictional character got you all fired up I'd like to suggest one that may restore some of your faith in men. Might I suggest "The Princess Bride". Watch that and I think you will feel good about knight in shining armor Wesley. What he goes through to get the girl is quite impressive.

BTW your other thread was incredible glad you came back.

that ignoring part was his sig...wasnt it? like, the thing that appears on the bottom of all his posts, nothing personal im sure. like how my sig says something about mmorpgs. didnt luke and obi wan show that not all guys make empty promises? and wait.. ANAKIN went to the darkside, so...he shouldnt even count. Im sure if a female went to the dark side she'd choke her pregnant husband...wait that doesnt work, well you get the picture

***someone should make a MMORPG based on the 'verse!***

STEGASAURUS

I'd just like to say that, with her arguement of "Annikin! You're breaking my heart!" I wanted to force choke her. I just would have waited until the kids were born. I may be mean, but I'm not a monster.

SIMONWHO

Pretty much every scene between Anakin and Padme had all the emotional resonance for me of someone finding out that they're out of Diet Coke at the grocery. I must confess when Anakin finally "lost it" (I think that was what the actor was trying to express but then again, he could have been mildly constipated that day) I sniggered in pretty much the same manner that Palpatine sniggered during the "NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" scene.

Maybe I just have higher standards now... but then again, the original trilogy still looks good to me. It's just the new ones being absolute monkey shite then.
