PATSRULE


ABC announced their lineup for the file, and Invasion is gone.

Lost will be back in the Wednesday 9:00 timeslot.

J.J. Abrahms has a new show coming on Thursday nights called Six Degrees, which will focus around 6 people whose lives intersect for some unknown reason...whether it is science fiction or not remains to be seen.

Other than that, ABC's new shows on the Fall lineup look HORRIBLE.


ABC does have a midseason show with Adam Baldwin, though, "Daybreak", where Tye Diggs stars as a cop who tries to prevent one murder while clearing himself of another killing for which he's been framed.

SICKDUDE


Not terribly surprised about this one. It had fair ratings (although they were dropping last I saw), but with Lost as a lead-in, you would expect that. I think ABC's thinking would be along the lines of "it did okay considering the time slot, but another show would probably do better".

Anyone have the actual ratings recently?

I loved Invasion.
AS I was watching it last week,I thought "now wouldn't it be just my luck if they cancel this entertaining and intelligent show " OH well,another one lost to the execs.
I can't help but feel they did everything to help this show fail.No Prmotion, no consistency in airings.
Somehow this feels familiar.Now I need a mug of mudder's milk.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.


You know, I kind of had a sinking feeling from day one that Invasion would not last, so I never watched it. I am so gun shy now about getting wrapped up in a show only to have it yanked out from under me.

Too bad it is being pulled. Looked pretty interesting.

Cant really say ive watched this show. Hasnt done very good in sweden and has been jumping around the timeslots a bit. It has kinda been the show that you find when zapping at wierd hours and say to yourself; Huh, is that one now? Was thinking of maybe watching it if and when the DvDs got relesed and if it was for rental cause it seemed ok. Dont know now however since it seems to be one of those shows that require a ending.

PATSRULE


I thought invasion moved along really quick, almost too quick. it moved from not knowing anything about the aliens, to a war with the hybrids, and left it without anymore mystery. There was nowhere to go with the show when they ended it, unless they totally changed it to focus on the alien babies instead of the hybrids.

Really? Now that reminds me of LOST. I´ve been watching 12 or more episodes (1st season). In the beginning, I was intrigued and tuned in regularly. But after a while, I became LOST in a boring and aimless maze of flashbacks and hints. I hope the sciptwriters still know, where all of that is going. I doubt it.

Invasion recently started on the german pay-TV channel. I saw the pilot and although the alien-story is a boring old fart, I liked it somehow. And I heard, there´re some petitions going on as well...

I totally agree!! I always likened it to watching a snail on a treadmill; it seems to be moving slowly, but in reality it hasn't gone anywhere.

To be fair, I stopped watching halfway through the season.

You’re taking me for a ride, right?!?!?!

So I’ve watch the whole first season and loved it, and now it been axed.

Cannot believe I've wasted the last 30 weeks or something. You actually got information about the story in every episode, unlike the bull, the boring... LOST. This is a huge disappointment to me.
