I just think Batman in the movies is getting closer & closer to Iron Man...his suit gets heavier, more complicated armour in each movie. Cover his mouth & put on a jet pack & he's practically there.

Yeah Iron Man does fit into the 'grey area' coz he hasn't actually got a super ability like Spidey, the X-Men, Hulk and the Fantastic Four who are obviously genetically altered. But he is 'modified'.

I think I have an idea for a thread....

An odd case to make, since his suit in the last one got less heavy - faster and lighter, plates over mesh, with less coverage ("more susceptible to knives and gunfire").

Okay, I missed that line, obviously.
But it looked like he was wearing a turtle-neck!!!

AURAPTOR

America loves a winner!

Ironman surprised me the most. I thought it was doomed for failure. Robert Downey pulled it off. I only hope they can continue the great work with Hulk. I still hold my breath on Captain America, though.

I love that they're doing Captain America as a WWII movie. I so hope it works. The director... tends to be a bit pedestrian with his films, but I still have high hopes.

It'll be a bitch to sell overseas though. Though it would make fanboys scream their heads off, casting Will Smith as Cap would probably be the most surefire way to turn it into a hit (and would have a slightly stronger historical backing, to boot). Not that I expect them to.
