America loves a winner!

Thanks to the fine folks at The Signal, I now know of the existence of this BBC series, currently available on Netflix.

Yes, I know, I'm late to the party on this one, per usual, as it first aired back in 2012. So sue me.

For those not in the know, Wolfblood is sort of a Harry Potter, kiddie level story about , well, those who can turn into wolves. Only, don't care them Ware wolves, because they're not! I say ' Harry Potter' because it's clearly intended for kids and young adults, since there's no sex or violence.

Episodes are short, only about 30 minutes or so.

The lead character, Maddy, is played by Aimee Kelly. A bit of a rising star it seems, over in the UK. In the series, her character reminds me of a Linda Cardellini, from Freaks and Geeks. Cute, but certainly dresses in rather Tom-boyish fashion.

'Maddy' is all of 14, though Aimee was 19 when the show started. Now she's in her early 20's, and off staring in another show. Apparently there's a change of players after season 2...

Why do people put select to view spoiler yet there never is a spoiler?

I was going back and forth about how much to post, but as I was tired, and it was late, I didn't want to ramble on and on. I've only watched a few episodes of season 1, and the series is 3 years old, so ...

So it's kind of like a cut off point, a metaphor for the end.

As I said, I'm not even done w/ season 1 yet. And I was tired, so I was on the verge of a incoherent ramble about a few different things.

There is one particular line, early on, which simply SCREAMS 'Firefly'.

Select to view spoiler:

Maddie - A lone wolf, huh? So next time you lose control of your wolfself ,what will happen then ?

Rhydian - Well, er, that will be an interesting day, won't it ?
