And it will be met with complete dispassionate indifference.

There are big changes coming out of Hollywood, Comics and Video Games. And in our Modern Times, Culture is the well from which all other things are derived.

The death of Wokeism shall be catalogued here, and history will look back at the last 10 years of these hate-filled, insecure lost souls running and ruining our collective culture, and the miasma of melancholy and malaise with which they've strangled us all for far too long now, with great disdain.

We stand together now at the threshold of a new Golden Age.

Do not despair over what we've endured together. Embrace it. Love it. Be just as thankful for it as you will to finally be free of it.

You can never truly appreciate how astoundingly creative the human spirit can be and the astonishing wonders that there are to behold until you've endured the deepest depths of the darkness.

And to all of these horrible, horrible people who have spent their entire careers actively trying to destroy everything that people loved while gaslighting you that it was the good thing to do; the right thing to do, all I can say to you as you're all escorted out of the door by security with your box full of Sexi-Ista-Phobic "Tears" mugs and whatever other twisted totems the Twitter blue-checkmarks keep on their desks to draw inspiration from for how to ruin somebody else's day is this...

Thank you.

Thank you all so very much for the Darkness. For the never-ending barrage of cynicism. For drilling us into the ground with your nihilism until we've become numb to it... inoculated against it... Until the very concept of nihilism itself has become as banal as your extremely limited creative output was from the very beginning.

Thank you for finally destroying things that were once great but that Hollywood had already hollowed out and bled the essence dry from through decades of creative bankruptcy and always playing it safe rather than ever trying to bring anything new and exciting to the table, many years before any of you got your ornery little paws on them.

Thank you for the potential for the coming greatness and creativity that could never have been achieved had you not made it your life's purpose to burn everything that came before you to the ground.

Though it was never your intention, without you, the coming renaissance would have never been possible. Irrespective of your goals, the potential which lies before us all now would not exist if not for you.

And for that, I truly am grateful.

Salut.

New head of CNN announces that he will quit Twitter on May 2nd, his first day in the office saying that it "skews what is important."

Netflix loses 25% of its market value in after hours trading after announcing its first quarterly membership loss in 10 years, 200,000 less subscribers when they were projecting growth of 2.5 Million for the quarter. Some estimating that it will lose another 2 Million by the end of the year. This coming off years of woke content alienating their viewers, and over-representation of weirdos. Netflix has lost 55% of its value since January of 2022.

Disney is now facing losing its independent government status in Florida after getting involved in Leftist politics. Disney stock now sits at $131.90 per share when it was at $182.79 a year ago today.

Senate passed it and DeSantis signed it into law. Democrats in the chamber REEEEEEEEd super loud and embarrassed themselves in front of the entire world.

Democrats in the 2020's love the Corps and are made very sad when companies that have more money than God have to pay taxes.

Disney shares down another $7 in the last two days and are now down over 35% from this day last year.

Netflix shares are down nearly 64% so far this year. They're probably regretting Cuties and Obama documentaries right about now. They surely regret that ill-conceived live-action dumpster fire Cowboy Beebop.

TIP OF THE DAY: Don't continually raise the rates on your actual paying customers while continually churning out woke garbage for the Twitter Mafia that doesn't pay for shit.

CNN+ folds after only 3 weeks and lays off over 300 employees after flushing over $300 Million down the toilet. Nobody was watching free CNN, so whoever thought this was a good idea should never be considered qualified to hold any job of any type ever again.

But you know that those individuals are going to be fine and it's the 300 people who actually worked that are the ones out on their asses.

Welcome to the club. We seem to get more members every day. Sorry the Bob's got you too. I guess we all need to Learn To Code, huh?

The reason why CNN+ Failed isn't what you think

Quote:

Why is Stephen Colbert, the most partisan and least funny man in late-night, generally the top host? By doubling down on #Resistance politics, Colbert built a dedicated audience just big enough to win the ratings war in today’s splintered landscape. He doesn’t have to put up the same numbers as Johnny Carson, so he doesn’t have to appeal to a wide swath of the public.

CNN is trying to be Johnny Carson in a Colbert world. The outlet is failing miserably to fulfill that goal, which is outdated anyway. It’s just a terrible business model, and even worse when you try to transfer it onto a new streaming platform with massive amounts of overhead.

Amusingly enough, Licht knows this better than anyone. In fact, his last job was with Colbert. As a savvy businessman, it makes perfect sense that Licht is quitting Twitter and trying to wrestle the network back to some semblance of neutrality.

As Fischer reported in February, “Licht and [David] Zaslav share a view that CNN was chasing prime-time ratings at the expense of the brand.” The same story, by the way, predicted CNN+ would shrink before it launched.

There’s a market for CNN+’s content, the problem is that it’s tiny. If you want to make money on a niche platform, you can’t spend like it’s a mass media platform. And if you want to be a mass media platform, your product can’t feel like a niche platform.

There's a real lesson here, and the big news is that some Corporations are learning it while others will be left behind.

And I assure you that this all circles back to the current state of Star Trek. It's all related, and we're about to see a massive cultural shift that will include Sci-Fi going forward.

Disney is Out of Touch With Mainstream American Values

https://www.newsweek.com/disney-out-touch-mainstream-american-values-o
pinion-1699436

Quote:

Conservatives are once again shooting themselves in the foot and handing the Left an easy victory. In their confrontation with the Disney company over its opposition to an education bill that liberals mislabeled "don't say gay," Republicans are playing into their opponents' hands by picking the wrong side of a culture war that's already been decided against them.

Or so liberals think.

As one Politico writer put it, the very notion that the GOP would "demonize one of America's most beloved and trusted corporations seems so quixotic on its face that it invites a simple question: not 'Why would they do this?' or even 'Why would they think it could be done?' but 'Why would it even seem advantageous to try?'"

On its face, this assessment of the dustup between Gov. Ron DeSantis and the company that operates "the happiest place on earth" seems accurate. That's especially true if you believe that the culture wars over gay and transgender issues were already won by the LBGTQ lobby and its corporate allies years ago.

That assumption is based on the way Hollywood helped normalize gay marriage in films and television shows, powering the push for the courts to ultimately mandate its acceptance everywhere in the country. That campaign illustrated the truth, enunciated by the late Andrew Breitbart, that politics was downstream of culture. Since the entertainment industry remains firmly in the grip of the Left, its leaders likely assume every policy shift they endorse will inevitably be made a permanent part of American culture.

Hence the belief that Florida Republicans are crazy to think they will succeed in stopping the indoctrination of young children to accept radical ideas about gender. If Hollywood, including heretofore family-friendly Disney, plans to promote gender ideology, it's because it believes mainstream American culture will follow along even when it advocates for the use of life-altering medical treatments on minors, with or without their parents' permission.

But while Breitbart's rule still holds, the Left and its corporate enablers, such as those running Disney, are fundamentally mistaken about their power to control public opinion.

Liberals may believe that supporting the right of parents to be involved in decisions regarding their children's well-being and to limit discussion of gender and sexuality issues in classrooms is reactionary. But no matter how many times they call Florida's HB1557 law "don't say gay" and assume that will be enough to ensure its defeat, that doesn't make it so. Nor does it change the fact that there is a huge difference between acceptance of adult gay couples and the attempt to normalize the idea of young children changing their gender, or allowing biological males to compete and dominate in women's sports at the high school and college levels. Such things are not rooted in basic American values.

Moreover, the growing polarization of American political culture means that liberal confidence in Hollywood's power to determine societal norms is also mistaken. In the last three years, the bifurcation of society has become almost complete, with Americans reading, viewing and listening to entirely different sets of press outlets and becoming isolated from each other on social media platforms.

In the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement, many Americans stopped listening to cultural or media outlets that call them racists because of their skin color or their adherence to equality instead of "equity." The same is true of conservatives who are ignoring mainstream media that label them traitorous insurrectionists because they voted for Donald Trump or question the fairness of the 2020 presidential election.

Now, even demographic groups that Democrats believed to be unshakably liberal are joining the backlash against woke doctrines about race and gender being imposed in the schools. When Disney, acting under the pressure exerted by both left-wing employees and liberal opinion leaders, chose to publicly oppose the Florida law, it started something it couldn't finish.

DeSantis and the GOP are not trying to turn back the clock to the 1950s while the rest of the country has moved on. They are actually in tune with much of mainstream America, which is rejecting the Left's demonization of those who think parents should be in charge of their kids' education and that sex ed, including indoctrination about gender, isn't appropriate for kindergarten students.

Disney, as one former writer for the network recently acknowledged, has long been involved in the sexualization of children, and it is not so powerful as to be able to mainstream ideas about race and gender that ordinary Americans reject as racist or too left-wing. And as it takes on a popular governor who is unafraid of such confrontations, it is about to find out that its influence may fall short. The GOP could inflict serious financial damage on a corporation dependent on state acquiescence in a sweetheart deal from which it has long profited.

This sort of comeuppance has been long in coming. But it will still shock the cultural Left to learn that there are limits on its power and that there are some things it can't make Americans swallow, no matter how hard it tries through its programming and public advocacy. Backlashes against pop culture are also upstream of politics, and that wave of anger about wokeness could swamp not only Disney but its Democratic Party supporters this fall.

How woke is too woke? Corporate America's sharp left turn prompts unprecedented backlash

Critics of corporate wokeness say enough, mobilize to combat firms' embrace of far-left causes

https://justthenews.com/nation/economy/how-woke-too-woke-corporate-ame
ricas-sharp-left-turn-prompts-unprecedented-backlash

Quote:

A diverse coalition of ministers, politicians, former corporate executives, and others is saying enough to corporate America's embrace of far-left politics, launching a wave of new initiatives to stop a years-long trend of corporations going woke.

Former McDonald's CEO Ed Rensi on Wednesday said companies have "no business" being in politics and has launched a new advocacy coalition to fight woke corporate politics.

"Corporations have no business being on the right or the left because they represent everybody there and their sole job is to build equity for their investors," Rensi told Fox Business, adding he believes progressive policies are negatively affecting shareholders.

Rensi will serve as executive chairman of the Boardroom Initiative, which comprises three pro-free enterprise advocacy groups: the Job Creators Network, the Free Enterprise Group, and Second Vote.

"These are groups that have been working kind of independently, but we decided to join forces and capitalize on all of our strengths," Elaine Parker, president of the Job Creators Network, told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Thursday. "We're going to fight back against all this woke capitalism in all of its forms. And the reason why is because we've got to protect our shareholders, the employees, customers, and the community from its overall spread."

Parker explained that the Boardroom Initiative will combat woke corporations and boards in a variety of ways, including filing shareholder proposals, advancing viewpoint diversity on corporate boards, and utilizing digital channels to spread the awareness of its mission.

"All of this is kind of happening below the radar, but we're starting to see it bubble up with some of the big headlines," she said.

Disney has certainly made headlines over the past few weeks for publicly criticizing a recently passed bill in Florida that bans instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in classrooms for grades K-3. The company announced it would suspend political donations in Florida and support organizations working to oppose the new measure.

In response, the Florida legislature voted Thursday to strip Walt Disney World of its private government status, a step supported by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Disney is just the latest prominent example of corporations supporting left-wing positions on hot-button issues.

Last year, for example, Delta and Coca-Cola lambasted a newly passed election bill in Georgia meant to minimize voter fraud. Critics, including the two companies, said the measure was designed to suppress voter turnout, especially among minorities — a claim denied by those who supported the bill. Major League Baseball even moved its All-Star Game out of Atlanta due to the voting law.

Another corporation accused of going woke is Bank of America, which has encouraged employees to be "woke at work" and told white employees to "decolonize your mind" and "cede power to people of color," according to Manhattan Institute fellow and investigative reporter Christopher Rufo.

Corporate leaders are "speaking out on policies that don't impact their companies," said Parker. "This is social engineering. These are issues that they shouldn't be getting involved in ... They have a responsibility to their shareholders to produce profit and value for the company."

One way in which companies have embraced wokeness is through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) evaluation, a rating system used by investors to measure a company's advancement of policies designed to address climate change, increase board diversity, and support a progressive "social justice" agenda.

On Thursday, Utah Treasurer Marlo Oaks coordinated an effort by political leaders across the state to send a letter to S&P Global Ratings President and CEO Douglas Peterson and President Martina Cheung demanding that S&P withdraw ESG indicators as part of its credit ratings for states and state subdivisions.

"ESG is about controlling and forcing behaviors," Oaks said in a statement. "It attempts to do through capital markets what activists and their government allies have been unable to do through democratic processes. S&P should be concerned about whether investors will get paid back, not whether a state policy lines up with their political beliefs, whatever those may be."

Many of these leftward shifts in corporate boardrooms are motivated by stakeholder capitalism, experts say.

Stakeholder capitalism is the idea that companies should serve not only their shareholders but also other interests and society at large, according to Vivek Ramaswamy, an entrepreneur and author of "Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America's Social Justice Scam."

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink has been one of Corporate America's biggest promoters of stakeholder capitalism.

Stakeholder capitalism is not about politics ... It is capitalism," Fink wrote in his annual letter to American CEOs in February. "Putting your company's purpose at the foundation of your relationships with your stakeholders is critical to long-term success."

"Your company's purpose is its north star in this tumultuous environment," he added. Shareholders "do need to know where we stand on the societal issues intrinsic to our companies' long-term success ... It is more important than ever that your company and its management be guided by its purpose."

Last year, BlackRock helped elect three climate-focused candidates to Exxon Mobil's 12-member board, describing its vote as an effort to push Exxon to fight climate change. BlackRock is a major Exxon shareholder.

Beyond climate change, many corporations have also taken up the mantle of the Black Lives Matter movement (BLM).

Indeed, spurred by the social unrest that tore through urban America in 2020, many companies have invoked the BLM slogan and pledged to donate money to the organization.

"Corporate leaders assumed that they were reducing their political and reputational risk by adopting [left-wing policies], especially on topics like climate change and workplace diversity," said Richard Morrison, senior fellow at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. "In many cases, this seemed like a smart move at first, but only because prior to the last few years, there was almost no countervailing conservative activism from the other side. That has now changed."

On Wednesday, black leaders called on Papa John's, Coca-Cola, and other "woke corporations" to show support for police officers after they "blindly" supported BLM and its affiliates.

The call came from Concerned Communities for America (CCA), a group of black leaders that lambasted BLM for "hate mongering" and asked corporations to pledge to support law enforcement rather than BLM.

Perhaps the most infamous example of corporate wokeness is Big Tech's censorship of content — censorship that conservatives believe is meant to silence them and promote left-wing views.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk, the world's richest man, has cited social media platforms' suppression of content as a key reason why he's currently trying to buy Twitter, saying Twitter's higher-ups are infringing on freedom of speech and his goal is to change that.

Twitter founder Jack Dorsey has also spoken out against the company's board of directors in a further indication that corporate leaders' behavior is alienating large swaths of the country.

Activism against corporate wokeness is slowly being turned into policy. Beyond Florida's battle with Disney and Utah's letter to the S&P, the Texas legislature last year passed a law that denied financial institutions who refused to do business with oil and gas companies or gun manufacturers the opportunity to do business with the Texas state government.

"In terms of a government response, I think the Texas one is legitimate — the state government can set certain standards for the vendors it wants to do business with, whether that's buying food for public schools or hiring a company to provide state agencies with financial services," said Morrison. "But states that try to reach out beyond their own role as a consumer and force 'woke' firms to renounce left-wing policies is over the line."

Morrison cited Florida's recent vote against Disney as one such move that went "over the line," describing it as a "political vendetta."

He added that it's "perfectly legitimate" for Congress to stop federal agencies from pressuring or forcing companies to adopt certain policies and priorities.

The Securities and Exchange Commission, for example, is pushing to adopt a new rule that would force corporations to radically expand their climate change disclosures.

"Congress should limit the jurisdiction of the SEC to its traditional role of facilitating financially material disclosures and not allow it to branch out into environmental and social policy," said Morrison, who noted Rep. Beth Van Duyne (R-Texs) has a bill now, the Stopping Excessive Climate Reporting Act, to do just that.

If I were inclined to gamble, I'm sure that there is a LOT of money to be made with the coming shifts if you place your bets right on which of the Corps will adopt the anti-woke stances fast enough.

I don't think he'll get banned. I think he's among the YouTuber's with "wrongthink" that have learned from other people's "mistakes" and have learned how to get around the AI algorithm while also self-moderating their content in a way that he doesn't get active legions of hatemongers from Twitter calling for his head.

You should watch ItsAGundam's channel. He's way more edgier than TheCriticalDrinker and it's pretty amazing that he's still on the Tube, especially given all of his digs at Mama Susan. If you really want to see edgy, check out SaltyCracker. I'm amazed they haven't come for him yet when my non-content channel got banned for making a MegaMan dick joke to a bunch of humorless Pronoun Nazis who co-opted a speedrunning organization that used to be pretty great.

I'm okay with it though. Daddy Elon just broke their favorite toy.

ETA: BTW, that video link you posted just so happens to be one of my favorite videos by CriticalDrinker.

ETA2: SaltyCracker IS protecting himself by uploading all of his videos to multiple places, including BitChute... He's also actively trying to ween people off you YouTube by multi-casting his live streams and only offering the first half of them to people on YouTube while running the full live stream on other platforms.

I've actually had several discussions with Mrs. Salty and she seems to be a wonderful woman. I was quite surprised at how quickly she got back to me and it was clear that she put effort into her replies. While not a million-sub channel yet, I can't imagine that I was close to the only person attempting to communicate with her on the days that we talked, and although they do warn that there is no way that they can reply to every message since it's just the two of them now that they will do their best, I don't think so highly of my writing that I was some sort of special case and that she probably spends quite a bit of her day interacting with fans of the channel amongst other things she does behind the scenes to build the brand.

Batwoman and some other dumb woke DC dumpster fire of a show on the CW was announced as cancelled today.

Any Firefly fan should ask them how a show that only pulled in 300k viewers managed 3 seasons, hop in a time machine and go back and tell Cool Young Joss how it's done.

If everybody needs to be genderacesexswapped and retarded though, never mind.

Quite a few layoffs at Netflix were also announced. Mostly around some marketing blog feature they had that I wasn't aware even existed until the announcement.

Hope there's a lot of code that need be writing. It appears lots of folk are going to need to learn how to write it now that their meaningless jobs aren't even a thing that exists anymore.

Nobody cared when my job disappeared and my salary went to pay 6 Indians out of a call center in Chennai who could live like kings off of my middling salary here in the states. Even less people cared when 95% of the stuff I used to do 13 years ago can now all be done faster and without human error by computers, and most of those Indians probably moved to a different floor of the building and have since been running various IRS scams and stealing $22 Billion a year from your grandparents.

You've got nothing else now, but for the nothing that it's worth you do have my empathy guys and gals. It sucks being laid off. At least I know they still need computers to do the job that I used to do though. None of you can even say that.

Quote:

...

This brings us to Disney. Democrats and National Review-esque conservatives would like to portray Disney’s foray into Florida politics in opposition to Florida’s recent laws regarding sexual instruction in grades K-3 as an act of principle, and the loss of their special economic zone near Orlando unjustifiable as political punishment. But Disney’s principles have always been limited by pragmatism; look no further than the company kowtowing to China, even on sacred LGBT or racial issues, such as removing a lesbian kiss from Star Wars in China, or when they removed African American star John Boyega from all Chinese posters for the films.

Disney’s recent corporate behavior has been therefore to defer to those it cannot defy, and to dictate to those whom it can dominate. When it comes to China, Disney chooses appeasement. In the U.S., Disney faces cancellation from the Left and cultural elites if it defies them, hence the willingness to fire fan favorite Gina Carano from the hit Star Wars spinoff series “The Mandalorian” for refusing to put pronouns in her Twitter bio and being a Republican. Carano, one of the first female MMA fighters, is a trailblazer, but she was fired because Disney assumed any outrage among viewers or conservatives would be minimal, while their left-wing employees and the entertainment media would harass the company until they acted.

Disney has been correct in their calculus – until now.
That is the real purpose of Florida’s actions. It is not, per se, about Disney’s opposition to the recent law. Efforts to stop it were ineffective, and the law passed. It was rather about changing the incentive structure. Disney was willing to oppose the Florida law and Governor DeSantis because the company believed that if they did not, left-wing activists and the media would attack them, but if they did, they would get cheers from the left and media while DeSantis and Republicans would shrug and do nothing. The incentive was clear. Being “woke,” even ineffectively, was free. That, in a nutshell, explains corporate wokeness: it is a rational cost-benefit calculation, not a broad-based ideological commitment to some sort of post-modernist Marxist worldview.

By not “doing nothing,” but rather taking action, Governor DeSantis, the Florida legislature, and newly assertive conservatives have sent a very clear message not just to Disney but to every company: the incentives have changed. If you decide to attack conservatives on the assumption they will merely “take it,” then you will now face retaliation.

This will not, as the National Review worries, endanger corporate free speech. If Disney executives and shareholders feel that “wokeness” is worth a financial tradeoff, they are free to pursue it. There are undoubtedly many woke consumers in America. But Disney will now have to balance pandering to them with the newly clarified costs of alienating everyone else – which will not mean abandoning all political positions that aren’t conservative, but likely will involve avoiding issues where 70% of the public is opposed to the message the left wants them to push. Pandering to vocal minorities will no longer make business sense.

This is a “conservative” approach to the antitrust goal of thwarting the abuse of concentrated economic power, in methods as well as ends. It functions not through coercion, but through the same incentive structures as the free market. By changing the costs and benefits of options, it forces companies like Disney to think much harder about taking biased political stands. That, ultimately, is what conservatives should seek in any sort of marketplace. A balance, in which no one side becomes all powerful.

Disney shares currently sit at $112.88. Down another 20 bucks from when I first brought them up on April 20th and $70 from a year ago.

Did anybody know that Discovery channel had a streaming service called Discovery+?

I didn't, and chances are you didn't either.

They will now though.

I wonder if David Zaslav knows about it yet?

Quote:

Generation Drag follows five teens and their families as they anticipate their biggest drag performance at Dragutante, a drag show designed as a platform for LGBTQ+ teens to express themselves. The show gives an intimate look at the lives of these families as they courageously support their kids who are navigating their true identities. The series drops all six-episodes on Wednesday, June 1st on discovery+, the definitive non-fiction, real-life subscription streaming service.

Are you really sure that's the road you want to travel Disco+?

Allow me to go on the record right now stating that as your lawyer I would highly recommend you disappear this thing from existence, burn all un-aired footage, and do your best to pretend that it never was a thing.

Netflix stock is now $180.97, less than half the price it was going for a month ago at $362.15. It's worth little more than 1/4 of the $688.29 it was worth on November 23, 2021.

Disney falls another couple bucks to $110.29.

No news on Discovery Plus at the moment. Somehow it seems that this new dumpster fire of a show they're putting out there hasn't garnered any attention yet. They seem to have done pretty well in 2021 and got more subscribers than they expected to, finishing off Q4 with 22 Million subs and then just putting out their numbers for March 2022 at 24 Million subs.

Netflix has 214 Million customers and Disney Plus has 130 Million, at least as far as a simple Google Search says they both reported for Q1 of this year. It would be pretty safe to say that all eyes aren't on Discovery Plus at the moment when Disney has more than 5 times as many subs and Netflix has nearly 9 times as many.

I wasn't even aware that Discovery Plus was a thing until I'd heard about this show, but 24 Million ain't nothing to sneeze at. It's most likely that their 24 Million customers aren't yet even aware that this is a show their family is going to be subjected to with their subscription yet. Their YouTube video is 11 days old now and only has 58,000 views (with comments turned off, obviously).

It will be interesting to see what noise is made about this when it premiers on June 1st, or if any real early advertising ends up getting the pushback it deserves and the project gets shelved before release.

Incidentally, does everyone remember when Gillette ran that Toxic Masculinity Super Bowl ad and then had a bunch of transgendered commercials to follow it up in 2019?

They were riding high at over $6,500 per share in early 2019 and even got a huge boost which peaked at over $7,950 in November of 2019.

They're sitting at $4,851 right now.

Let's see what Gillette's Super Bowl ads looked like in 2022, shall we?

Well... there was no way they were going to put a white dude in it, but no surprise there because of current year. I guess my only complaint would be using the word "exfoliate" in a men's product commercial. But what do I know? I wasn't raised in the generation that stopped keeping score in soccer and burns other people's shit down when I don't get my way.

Still not going to buy your overpriced products, idiots, and anybody who falls for your printer ink-cartridge style price gouging tactics deserves to have you. Still didn't forget your 2019 Super Bowl ad either.

Yup.

Just like Hulu (same parent company) already does, and like Netflix is planning to do for their cheapest tier.

Go ahead and do it, Disney. The only reason your numbers are bumped so high so quickly is because of the packages you entangled with cell phone plans and such. Once you start making people watching commercials while watching your woke BS shows and movies like they used to have to sit through with Cable TV you're going to start losing subscribers like Netflix is.

Honestly, I think Amazon is the only service that will end up surviving in the end of the Streaming Wars, and everybody else is going to end up licensing their properties to Amazon like everybody used to license their properties to Netflix.

You get a shit ton more than just their streaming service with the monthly fee with the fast/free shipping and access to free music among whatever else I'm not even aware of since I don't have a subscription to them myself.

Take your pronouns and bounce on them, bitches.

Maybe what you need is a little time off from having high paying jobs that you were never qualified for and start getting your hands dirty for minimum wage for a while to reflect on just how good you once had it before you pissed it all away.

Get used to hearing the word "No". All the time. Outside of the little bubble that you've created for yourself that is bursting, you're going to hear that word every single day for the rest of your lives. Just like every single one of the rest of us do whenever we make asinine requests or lay down ridiculous ultimatums on somebody else. And that goes double for the talentless and lazy people, of which most of you happen to be. You've lost your safe space and your mental well-being holiday pay. Unless your mom or dad died last night, get your ass to work if you want a paycheck.

SPOILER ALERT: Minimum wage jobs won't give you mental well-being paid holidays when something you read on the internet gets you triggered. You're not even going to get paid days off when you have the flu, so fully expect to be getting sick a lot more than you did at the cushy job because nobody you work with ever takes days off when they're sick.

In the meantime, I'd strongly suggest that you figure out exactly what it is that defines you that isn't a bullet point on the oppression pyramid if you want to have food on your table going forward.

And once we finally weed this shit out of the Colleges, we're never going to have to worry about another generation being as devoid of humor, skills, ability, competency and quality of character as a great deal of you poor Millennials turned out being.

It's a wonder half of you can wipe your own asses.

More shows being cancelled on the CW.

https://screenrant.com/cw-tv-shows-cancelled-2022/

Looks like about half of CW's lineup is gone now.

I actually feel bad for anybody who gave The 4400 a second try only to see it cancelled twice before it concluded in the last 20 years now, although it does sound like just more woke trash to throw in the dumpster fire the 2nd time around.

Lot's of people being laid off in the merger, including top level management. Some of them aren't being replaced leading some to speculate that things like the redundancy of TBS and TNT won't be a thing for very much longer. ALL original programming on both of those stations have been cancelled.

Seriously dudes and dudettes... You'd better take another look at Discovery+ streaming. Not only are they grooming kids on there, but they've made a "children's" TV show called "The Book of Queer" that claims that Abraham Lincoln was the first gay President and Joan of Arc was non-binary. (Where's Mayorkas' Ministry of Truth when you need it!)

You're going to lose that streaming service before it gets a real chance to compete with the big boys.

It would seem that is a shame since it doesn't look as though some of the rest of your content is pure trash. A lot of it does though. Yikes.

The Wonder Twins movie was just cancelled at Warner Bros. The new CEO is going to clean house at DC comics too because they decided that they want to start making money again.

It sounds as though nearly everything DC in the movies is going to be scrapped that isn't already complete and they're going to start over.

There's zero reason why DC shouldn't be able to kick Marvel's ass. Outside of the characters that Disney doesn't own, Marvel never really had great characters compared to DC's heavy hitters. Unless you were into comics before the Iron Man came out, you didn't even know who Iron Man was.

And now that Marvel blew their wad on the Infinity War to cash out and the actors who they had tied up for 15 years are moving on, they're left with nothing but D-listers and their failing woke agenda going forward short of ending everything, not putting out any super hero movies for 5 or 10 years and starting over.

While the restatement of the streaming platform's company creed might be interpreted as mere words — little more than a calculated feint to placate a customer base weary of cultural revolution and ideological purges — Netflix appears to be backing it up with actions.

Nearly 70 contractors writing for the company's left-wing brands such as the black-centric "Strong Black Lead" and the Asian-focused "Golden" were let go from the company as part of a downsizing effort the company has undertaken over the past several weeks.

It doesn't matter how little work they do, how little value their presence brings to the company or how much damage to the bottom line their employment eventually brings to the company. If it weren't for layoffs, the only way you were ever going to be getting rid of any of them is if somebody had video footage of them sexually assaulting somebody lower than them on the Oppression Pyramid.

Step One, which you've already begun, is to use the layoff to get rid of ALL of them.

Step Two, which EVERY company out there would be advised to follow going forward, is to NEVER hire people like this again and get stuck with them.

These people should never have any more job responsibility than setting up an end-cap for the big weekend sale at Costco.

Fortunately, I can say that I missed that during my working years. The "Must Say Gay" Lightyear movie is tanking harder than anybody (except me) could have predicted.

It barely eeked out a 2nd place finish for it's first weekend in the box office and now Top Gun: Maverick is back in first place with Lightyear taking the 5th spot in only it's second week in theaters.

Pathetic.

https://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Lightyear-(2022)#tab=box-office

At least you can say that Disney FINALLY drew a line in the sand here for international audiences and didn't cave on its agenda when it came to altering the movie or the promotional material for international offices.

Sadly, for Disney, this meant that it's barely being shown anywhere else except for Mexico and Europe.

https://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Lightyear-(2022)#tab=international

11 days in the theater and it just barely cleared $150 Million worldwide.

That's on a $200 Million budget, with likely another $200 Million spent on promotion.

They're going to lose huge on this turd.

It makes one wonder how they're going to pay for "Abortion Travel" for its employees in the future.

I guess if their movies aren't going to make money anymore they're going to need to REALLY start gouging the customers at their theme parks. I'm sure all of those rich white Democrats who want to listen to this dumb woke shit will be happy to pay the extra costs since Disney priced normal Americans out of their parks.

After this weekend's showing, Gay Robot Dog Movie is not even expected to beat Pixar's previously lowest box office movie The Good Dinosaur. I think it will be close, especially if the theaters are still forced to show it in an insane amount of screens even though they're mostly empty.

It won't come close to beating The Good Dinosaur's worldwide take though, which was $333 Million, with $210 Million of that overseas. Currently, Gay Robot Dog Movie has just barely $80 Million internationally and won't even crack $100 Million.

They are going to lose a ton of money on this.

Apparently, Disney still has enough money in reserves not to care about making money though...

Just like years of keeping Kathleen Kennedy in charge of Star Wars after she ran that property into the mud, they've rewarded Bob SayGay with a 3 year extension on his contract.

A lot of other companies have learned their lesson by July of 2022. I guess school is still in session for Disney.

Disney likes that though. Because where there are schools, there is child grooming to be done.
