Awesome! I'm sure I'll buy it the day it comes out, despite having all 7 seasons on DVD.

Looks like some family members are gonna be getting socks this year...

I can bring you an exclusive transcript of the interviews (as predicted, 20 seconds of interview follow by 20 minutes of show footage):

Sarah Michelle Gellar: "Buffy? Buffy the Vampire Slayer? No, sorry, doesn't ring any bells. Was that before or after my number one smash movie The Grudge?"

Alyson Hannigan: "This one time, on the set, just for fun, I stuck Joss in... what? This is a PG rated disc? What does that have to do with me sticking Joss in the broom cupboard?"

Anthony Stewart Head: "Of course, before Buffy I was best known for coffee ads. And now I play the Prime Minister, just like Hugh Grant did in Love, Actually."

Seth Green: *sits perfectly still, looking very cool indeed*

Charisma Carpenter: "What? I'm allowed to wear clothes for this interview? Hey, I'm just giving the audience what they want."

Nicholas Brendon: "Oh, it was great, can't wait until we start shooting the next season. Or a film. You know, maybe a TVM movie, straight to DVD. Or another video game maybe? Or a promo for the repeats. *holds up cardboard sign saying 'Will Play Xander For Food'*

Idea: go to a shop that buys and sells used dvd's, the going rate for a set in good condition is between $20 and $25, so that would be at least $130 towards the mega-set...(BS1 will only get about $10).

That's how I finance new dvd's from time to time Chrisisall

Huh? Was that a complement or a very subtle joke?

Phew! Wasn't sure to say thanks until I knew it wasn't sarcasm (can be hard to tell) so thanks!

Poor old Nicholas Brendon. Did such a good job as Xander and yet hasn't found anything even semi-decent since. I hope this new series he's in does well, it's from the guy behind Sex and the City so at least it has pedigree behind it.

Without the context of Jayne, I guess it would read like a slam- I just assumed everyone would think of the line "cause sick folk are hi-larious"

Yeah, poor Nic, and look at Mark Hamill, same thing. A freakin icon of American pop-culture and he hasn't starred in anything since Jedi! (well, some direct to dvd stuff...)
I'd see either of them in any good movie...

They deserve more Chrisisall

WHITEFALL

Wow... 200 is actually a good price for such a set.... if you consider taht sometimes seasons of DVDs go for 50-ish.... buy 7 get 3 free

But alas, i'm only really watching buffy for the whedon-ness of it, and i'm doing so via 1-disc netflix... so, abit more than a season a month, and at worst that comes out to $70.... so.... whatevers. all good.

p.s. i do admit, the non-villian-of-week eps are just excellent TV, the others almost as much... i'm really enjoying it.

I survived a day in Whitefall and all I got was this lousy signature!
