Send them to the website and we’ll take care of the rest. We prefer independent cinemas (’cause they rock) with big auditoriums (’cause there are a lot of you fans out there!).

THE BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SING-A-LONG!

Buffy fans (and those who have yet to be converted) are invited to watch their favorite episode on the giant screen, surrounded by a theatre filled with singing, shouting, and laughing friends. We turn on the subtitles and lead the audience in a sing-a-long with all the characters. And, in the tradition of Rocky Horror and other interactive fan favorites, we offer goodie bags filled with tools for participating in the show.

Finger puppets are waved in the air as monsters appear on screen, streamers pour over the audience during a “climactic” moment, kazoos blow, sirens wail, vampire teeth are worn, people dance with their dry cleaning, and the audience boos the baddies, cheers the heros, and implores Buffy’s little sister Dawn to just “shut up!”. And of course - bunnies! It all happens live and in person along with your favorite show!

Before the film, audience members are invited to participate in a Buffy-oke contest and show off their own acting skills, show off their knowledge of Buffy trivia, and have a chance to win cool Buffy prizes.

This one-of-a-kind show started in Boston in 2004, then became the resident sing-a-long at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin (there were also fan convention screenings of “The Buffy Horror Picture Show” prior to 2004, but we didn’t know about these when we started). Now the Buffy Sing-a-Long is sweeping the country playing to sell out crowds in Tucson, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. Our new home base in New York City, where the monthly Buffy Buffy Sing-A-Long at the IFC Center now features a fully integrated live cast!
