Ok, so it's a slow day. But my brother was out in L.A. earlier this week, and said he recognized some " babe " that use to be on BTVS. When I asked who, he showed me some pics on his phone he took.( Bro's not a huge fan, but he knew enough to recognize she was on Buffy and Angel ) Unfortunatly, the pics showed only her backside, which didn't exactly I.D. her too well. Nice as it was.

Upon further questioning, and a quick trip to google, he said " that's her " when her pic came up on screen.

He was sitting about 6 rows back behind home plate, and Eliza was sitting right in front of him, 2 rows down.

Lucky bastahd.

Yeah, she's dating (Dodgers pitcher) Brad Penny, so for as long as it lasts, chances are probably decent of spotting her at games. At least on the nights he's starting...

I'll second that!

Although, probably a good thing I don't ever run into anyone from the Jossverse. Better to adore them from afar than embarass myself in person. It wouldn't be a good thing to just stand there and stare. There might even be tears, but the words coming out of my mouth would likely be something like:

"You just don't know...oh my god...what...you've(sniff sniff)...done...I don't know how I can...thank you. SO much...meant so much...I(sniff)...um, bye!" (this is followed by me running off in humilation over being stuck on stupid in front of someone I truly admire)

As much as I understand this point of view, this doesn't happen when the first Joss verse person you meet is Adam Baldwin. He is so good at making you feel at ease. I felt like just a normal guy meeting a normal guy when I talked to him. He was the first I talked to in person one on one, and that made speaking to Nathan and Jewel so much easier. then Morenna, Ron, Summer, and Alan. Still need to meet Gina(she don't get out much) and Sean. Meeting Mark"Badger" Shepard soon(D*C).

This would likely change meeting Eliza... cause... well...

I certainly can't come up w/ anything unique or witty to say, should I ever meet any folks from the Joss 'verse. And I can't stand sounding like a parrot, saying something they've heard 10 million times over, so I'd probably come out saying something incoherent and lame.

Oh, and I don't really 'do' autographs, so that makes me even less of a fan geek. There's really no hope.

Although I probably wouldn't ask for an autograph, I'm sure I'd probably hate myself later.

Wait, I have exactly two autographs...one of James Marsters & Juliet Landau that I purchased through the Buffy Fan Club years ago. I also bought Amber Benson's movie CHANCE and got a hand-signed picture of her for helping to support the movie.

Honestly don't know what to tell you. I had Season 1, and what little there was of Season 2 on DVD. It was hit and miss to me. As much as it didn't make sense, it was oddly appealing at the same time. It improved as it went on (IMO when Jason Priestley joined the show, even as annoying as he was), but I honestly don't know if you would like it or not. I wish I still had my copies because I would've sold them to you cheap. Unfortunately I sold them at Half-Price Books when I needed the cash (turned out not to be much...would've felt better about it giving them to you). I'd see about renting it from Netflix or somewhere like that first before putting out the money to buy them.
