Ok so - The Beatles' White Album (the one with 'Cry Baby Cry' (make your mother sigh))... was originally gonna be called 'From a Dolls House'
BUT
another band, called (get this) FAMILY, who were recording in the same studio nicked the name for their first album 'Music in a Dolls House' - now considered a classic.

River doesn't like to be "dressed like a doll"

oh - and there is a very very righteous graphic novel in the Sandman series called 'A Dolls House' - by a certain mister Neil Gaiman...

just rolling the associations around in my head is all.
